i got the chance to race today if the race its right now i wana join!!!! where can i find it?

Well, practice is done. Race day is tomorrow!

Few things to keep in mind:

First and foremost, this is a 2 hour event, and damage will be set to HEAVY. The race won't be won on Lap 1, remember that.

Second, the event will be held in a Club Members Only lobby. So please make sure you're in the club in game.
And just as a precaution, clear your cache out before jumping online. Helps with lag (or so we're all told to believe, anyway...)

Third, make sure you have rain tires. Just in case.

And last, let me know of any car changes, if any. Just so I know what to expect.

Room will open up at 1:00pm EST, USA. Qualifying is set to start at 1:15pm. The race should then start at about 1:30pm.

This is within the game. From the main game screen, hit start > Options > Network > Clear Cache... Yes :)

That was a good race for me, despite of the mistakes that I made on the track...
 
Such a fun race. Sorry to you two getting disconnected, sucks! I think Aboe must have run out of fuel just before the line. 0.400 seconds over the line after 2 hours, crazy.
 
Fist off, I would like to thank everyone who came out today! Congrats to Willicks on the win. 2 hours of racing, and the top 3 were within a minute of each other. And it looks as though there was some crazy finish that I haven't seen yet.

Not everything went perfectly, but it wasn't bad. I'd like to apologize to those who got disconnected. I'm disappointed we lost as many as we did.
I haven't watched the replay yet, but from my point of view, everything went pretty well. (even thought I happened to be mostly alone through most of it) Well enough for me to say that I'd like to do another one of these next month, a week or two before Christmas. Same car specs, mostly the same room settings, but at a different track.

I'll have more on this during the week with any tweaks that need to be made going forward.

For the time being, yes. The regs seemed to work well enough, so I'll use these for a little while. These events are kind of a way of me making sure this stuff works out.

What I'd really like to do is this with the GT500s. But that'll come with time. :D
 
Flip as always thanks for putting on the event and congrats to the podium finishers. Very odd that aboe slowed after the last corner to give Willicks the win. my final turn mishap ruined my race but I fought back which was fun even though my car was just not tuned correctly for the track. looking forward to the next series if we run this format.

Flip if I had gone the wrong way to get back into the pits would that have disqualified me??

Yeah, driving backwards to the pits after turn 1 is super frowned upon.
