I think that would create too many categories, it's a nice idea but there's probably going to be a lot more countries people are from than you originally anticipate. There's a lso a lot of members who haven't disclosed thier location, so they would be excluded.

But the winner would be excluded, by way of being noticed by getting an award...

Damn you man, damn you!

What about a award that goes to a member who has improved significantly after having their first account banned?

That would be very close to the Turnaround Award, which could include people that haven't been banned.

Changed my previous banner a bit...

Winter theme.
Now, if only I could get ahold of Jordan's Christmas lights...

Now THAT is a VERY interesting one. Competition would be pretty hot between the British and the Americans, but there are a few places where there are very few people who are in here.

yeah, i think 90% of the people here are from the UK or US, most of the rest are from Australia, New Zealand, and other countries, but a good idea

That is good. You are just missing the "®" after "awards". :)

Some really good suggestions in here (and some not so good ones! ;)) I think leave this thread a while to gather some more information. The Categories will go up and voting will begin on Friday.

Not if you make it the Previously-unsung Hero Award, Mr Smarty Pants.

How about most consistent eloquent use of grammar?

Or maybe an a-z of members with people voting for their favourite poster whos username begins with that letter?

I'm thinking a Duke-danoff-daan face-off.

If it wasn't for TM... :(

Seriously though, I think would be a few too many awards. If everyone has one it starts to loose its effect.

Might make for an interesting non awards based thread, but yeah it'd be too many awards for this.

Best member to have ridden the mighty moon worm.

And DQ. And Der Alta. And Donbenni. And...

Hows about having 2 awards in each category? The 2nd award would be for those people who don't post in bold indigo. :dopey:

Best member who's name doesn't mean "extreme and general scarcity of food" and I think we're covered .

That all sounds good, even the unlikely ones. We gotta spice up the award fest somehow...

When are the Darwin Awards? :D

I think most likely to be crowned a moderator is a good one. 👍

How about: Most likely to have the biggest garage?

Sorry if that sounds too high school. I'm not used to superlatives.

I think all the Unlikelys except the "most likely to get a lock thread" ones should be still kept. I agree with what was said earlier about keeping it positive and not negative.

How about the most delightfully eccentric?

How about Most Lovable Member?

You know, the guy/girl that could impregnate/be impregnated by your mom/dad, throw insults at you that would make a sailor cry, and kick you in the reproductive organs, and you'd still +Rep him/her at the end of the day.

Or, more simply, the guy/girl you just can't hate.
