Sub zero in theory and concept, lethal in practice. Pretty obvious designing practical cars was not Buckiminster Fuller's forte, so pans out to a solid cool, bolstered by it's uniqueness and prescient styling.

48 think its uncool 67 think it is.

Never thought I'd see a rear engined fwd car, but here you go. Giant engine, very little power (yes I know its the 30s, but still).

Sorry, seriously uncool here.

Imagine if you had one and imagine all the people coming up to you asking if they can have a ride. That alone makes it very cool.

Just like a bus?
How many buses do you know of that have so much character?(I can sense someone will say a VW Kombi) But unlike a Kombi it can take just as many people maybe more, it can turn in its own length and the darftness of making it steer at the rears is just so out there. I mean surely its appealing to the curiousity of others.

The 30's were famed for this kind of 'innovation'. Just type '1930's aerodynamic car' into Google Images and you'll get pages and pages of similar oddball vehicle designs. This wasn't a standout of any shape or form.

It only had four seats too.
