I just don't know about this one. I'm going to sleep soon so I can vote freshly.

I'm so torn between Cool and Uncool (I'm not going to vote meh because this evokes emotions, not sure which, but emotions)

I think it's cool. Not sub-zero cool, but not boring either. I like the car, but there's just something about it that doesn't do it for me. I can't quite put my finger on it, but it feels like there's something missing, like its empty on the inside.

The technology behind it is amazing but, this still gets a seriously uncool from me.

I honestly can't work out what to think. I'm going to vote cool though, because whilst it may be a supercar, it's a 90's one.

Barking mad. And the styling was certainly arresting. Should have been cooler, but then there's that vestigial pig snout:

I like the small Bugatti shape grill. But that's about it. Meh.

Oddly, that's the only thing I don't like about the car. Meh.

What this thread has taught me in just two pages. The horsepower fiends that read this will tout non-existent numbers of HP from some of the ugliest muscle cars and then put cool. Those that aren't from the U.S. and aren't horsepower fiends but more logical in some areas don't like its Euro design inside cause it's too old person and ugly. Yet they both agree and not find this cool despite having things other cars would make them shout cool...I found a car that creates compromise.

For me I always thought this car was cool because it was unique and really the archetype of the Bugatti in some sense. Normally I'd do uncool cause super car but this time due to Nostalgia and still seeing it the way I do now that I'm older I'm going for cool.

It's a modern supercar, so by default it is veering into uncool territory.

However, I do like this car for its rarity, not-as-obvious-ness and the quad V12. UrVeyron is cool in a way. Plus, I love its looks.

Still uncool though. Flash git.

I usually don't disagree with you but how is this modern? I mean most groups tend to consider cars of 20 or more so 25 years of age classic. Unless you're not realizing how old you are :sly:. Which when looking at this car I begin to :(

If the Veyron hadn't revived Bugatti in people minds, this would just be another fugly super car that looks like a kit car, of like it was designed and built in Mexico.

However, it does have a certain mystique...

..I'm going cool, because it hints at what Bugatti was to become with the Veyron, without being as tedious as the Veyron.

Modern as in not in the same vintage as a Miura or 250. Which are cool supercars.

Oh I see what you mean...so does that mean the F1 is uncool?

*checks*

Well, apparently we haven't polled the McLaren F1 yet. I'll reserve my judgement until it actually comes up. It's a tricky one, but it is a car I like.

"Modern supercars are uncool as a starting point" is just that, a starting point. There are other factors and there are exceptions such as the Ferrari 288 GTO. And again, while I like the EB110 you'd look like a flash git in one so it's uncool.

As for where the cutoff is for particular vintages, I guess that'd be a very subjective matter.

Less to complain about than the other quad turbo AWD Bugatti, thought I don't really know much about it. Seems cool enough.

Absolutely no idea. I don't like the styling, exterior or interior, but the drivetrain doesn't exactly leave much to be desired. Also has exclusivity but was rather forgettable in my eyes, indeed I forgot about its existence until the Veyron.

Rounds out to a Meh.

Plus, like, engine downsizing or whatever.

Oh, you...

You know, in local racing series, we apply a 1.5x displacement modifier to boosted motors. Since this has quad turbos, that actually comes out to nearly 18 liters. That's 31.6 hp per virtual liter.

I think the word we're looking for here is low specific output...

I wanted to give it cool just for the stats, but it looks so bland, generic 90's supercar that it fell to meh. Simple badge swap would make it totally believable model from Noble, Venturi, Lamborghini.. :indiff:

One of our wealthy customers once came by with one of these, to show it off, and when he showed the inside I gagged a little bit. Especially about the dash.

It's just awful.

I don't know man... I love what I see here... Except for the skinny steering wheel, it looks very very sweet IMHO...

This thing is absolutely awesome. It's like the Yeti-missing link 'tween supercars of today and supercars from the 80s. Today: V12 with 4 turbos and AWD. Yesterday: way od intriguing looks, that dash omfg  and technology that wasn't good enough to pull off what might have been. The combination is straight up awkward but I've always, always been fascinated by it. Also not built by Volkswagen so you're not driving a Golf. The wheels push it deep into sub zero.
