It's cool for the fact it makes so many purist mad, but it's uncool because you'd looks ridiculous driving it and you'd be an idiot for buying a vastly more expensive iQ that's fancy.
 
offtopic question but if we're polling the Toyota IQ then what is your votes?

If you're talking about today's Toyota cars then i admit you're right. The only car i'm interested in Toyota is the GT86 which's a bit under powered but still cool car IMO.

If you're talking about older Toyota cars then i have to disagree a bit here. Because there's cars like the Supra, Celica, MR2, AE86, 2000GT and... that pretty much it.

Yes Toyota is a boring car maker but it's the same story with other today's Japanese cars like the Honda with the Accord and Civic, Mitsubishi with the Galant and Lancer EX, Mazda with Mazda 3 and Mazda 2 and then Nissan with Sunny, Sentra and Versa.
Basically all of them make boring cars except for the fact Nissan still makes GT-R and 370z, Mazda still Makes MX-5 and Honda is going to start production for the Honda Civic Type R and Honda NSX this year, Meanwhile Toyota Stopped making cool cars and the only car i like right now is the GT86.

But at least Toyota IQ isn't that expensive compared to Cygnet which's one of the reasons why i voted SU So i guess Uncool?

The thing is, people won't know you paid three times the price you should have paid, they don't think it's a disgrace to the Aston Martin name, they just won't, actually here vast majority doesn't even know what Aston Martin is, apart from James Bond films, and even that is quite far from what they'll see in this.

Over here in my country, this same thing would also apply to McLaren, Lotus, koenigsegg, Hennessey, Saleen, RUF, Alpina, Alpine, Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Caterham, Fiat, MG, Noble, Pagani, Tesla, DMC, Fisker, KTM, Lancia, Morgan, Opel, TVR, Vector, Venturi and Zenvo.

just sayin' (thought i also mentioned some Kit cars factory in that list)
 
In my mind, the Toyota/Scion IQ was a dishwasher on wheels. This is a dressed up dishwasher on wheels!

It's silly. Dumb. Ugly. Expensive. Unnecessary. And that's why I think it's awesome. There is no real point in it's existence, and yet Aston when ahead and made it. Gets a cool from me :D
 
SU, Get a Abarth 500 instead. At least the Smart Fortwo was tolerable for me.
 
Ferrari/Fiat did much better luxury/high-end City car.
