GTP Cool Wall : VW Scirocco

I still feel it does not do the original justice party due to the fact that it bares hardly any resemblance at all! It might be a good looking car but in my opinion its not a Scirocco.

Well not everything can be a re-design, can it?

Find a single part of this design that you could successfully modernise, and turn it into a 'retro' car that's instantly recognisable:

Sorry, but as good as the Scirocco may or may not have been, it came from an era when everyone was simply designing boxy things. It's not a 500, or a Beetle or a Mini - you can't simply inflate the design a bit and have a (fairly) good looking car that still manages to look fresh.

If VW did try to pull such a trick, they'd simply fail miserably and end up with a boxy mess that nobody understood the reasoning behind. At the end of the day, it's doing a better job of being a Scirocco than it could do if they were to pull a Fiat 500 trick on it. Spiritually, it's pretty much what the original was - a slightly sportier Golf. Even though the Golf's image has changed somewhat over the years.
