It may not be the appropriate time to celebrate, but I just wanted to let you know that I have managed to scrub off yet another 1,324 seconds off my time @ Nürburgring Nordschleife, finally beating my Austrian arch-rival by 0,701 seconds, using this slightly modified tune, Traction Control 4 only this time:

Joining the GEEZERS in our sorrow for losing a very cool gentleman so suddenly. There's little we can say other than rest in peace our dear friend Lionel. Please know you are and will be missed and remembered. Not only as we continue on playing our games (we know you would want that old bud) but we're also remembering you while not playing the games. We offer our heart felt condolences to your family and to your friends. We know God has arranged a special garden spot in Heaven just for you Lionel, a PS3 with a glorious edition of GranTurismo and GRID AutoSport, a PS4 with the other games you enjoyed these last few years on Earth as you await your dear Wife, your family and your GEEZER buddies. We'll be seeing you soon old friend so please Keep a Light on for us.
 
Hi guys. I'm very sorry to hear the sad news about Lionel.
He was a nice guy, very funny.
If I remember correctly, it was Lionel that had me in stitches that time
we all raced the Midgets at GTArena, with some of us going the wrong way.
Great memory. Thats how I'll remember him.

I'll be raising a glass later, in memory of Lionel .... the Geezer! :guilty:
 
Geezers sorry i have not been on much this week but i am having severe internet problems.

I have heard from Lionel's wife today and the coroner said he died of a massive heart attack.
I will let you know when the funeral is as soon as i know.
I also took the liberty of sending all your comments about Lionel to Sylvia his wife and she was touched by your fondness for Lionel. She has now printed them all off for safe keeping.
Sylvia also wanted to thank everyone of you for your kind thoughts during this difficult time.


As for this weeks tt i will pm you all when to start with full tune and post here as well.

Thanks for the update @Stewyripper. 👍 Lionel did not suffer. That was a Blessing but still too soon.

I spoke to @zona99 on Monday & he said he was going to visit Sylvia & bring his tablet to show her all of our comments re Lionel. You may have beaten him to the punch. I haven't spoken to him since.

He called round to her yesterday then rang me when he got home last night.

Mots GZR final week at Tsukuba. The same car will be used since it is the only geezer car that can post a better time than last week. Final settings: no oil change, 500pp, 258hp, 773kg. You can install racing brakes, but no suspension parts. The upgraded transmission can be used, set it to 137, the fourth setting from minimum. Install the first engine upgrade, the differential upgrade, but leave it at the default settings. Do the 3rd stage weight reduction, do not use the window upgrade. You'll have to back off some power to reach 500pp. Sorry about the changes, but it's necessary to make the car faster than last week.

Got another visit on Monday so may or may not be on Saturday. Perhaps @cheeves could run a room for the day.

Sure hope you get the problems sorted out. I'll log in and host if necessary if Greg can't.
 
Another session at the 'Ring with the Honda Weider, and I was able to get into the 7:39's:

There's still more time to be found if I put together a full lap, but I'm already pushing pretty hard, so I may be pretty near my limit:(
