Hello Stewy,

There are no words that seem adequate enough to say 'Thank you Geezers for your total support and the heartfelt Tributes you have all sent to me via Stewy. You all gave me the strength to go on throughout this difficult time and I shall never forget your unselfish kindness.

The flowers were beautiful and the message more so; I will always remember you guys, thank you so much for being there for Ly, you all enriched his life. Thank you so much.
My love

Many thanks, Pepper, I used your above tune and it seemed to work (in the beginning), but I (again) falter towards the end.
What drives me nuts is, that I'm driving this race now for (all in all) 24 to 48 hours (many hours anyway), and I seem to be unable to even better my own best time by at lest 0,001 seconds!
Wheras many laps start promising, like the one you can watch below, but all in all I have screwed 1,080 seconds during the lap as you can see from the split times:
1.) -0,438 drove well through Tertre Rouge and I'm right behind Elias Johansson (#16 in the world!), all other geezers
still behind me.
2.) -0,929 gained nearly 1 second now after the Playstation Chicane which I traditionally drive quite well, still right
behind Pepper (whom I will never catch), but Position is okay there;
3.) -0,669 still and acceptable improvement after the Michelin Chicane, which I traditionally drive very poorly, but
still the first follower of Pepper;
4.) -0,249 lost more than 4 tenth there, because I braked Mulsanne Curve too late! Still nobody between me and Pepper!
5.) -0,019 after the Indianapolis Left, the following right-hander "Arnage" was okay, but the damage is already done;
6.) +0,048 in the "Vitage du Pont", after Jota (and myself) have ovetaken me in the Porsche-Turn, DaDuce to follow.
7.) +0,151 on the Finish Line, after GTsail2 catches me in the last chicane (as usual), which is particularly frustrating! :banghead:

To summarise: a strong start, but a weak finish, all in all just a near miss

Well,
I really have to thank pepper mallard :bowdown::bowdown::bowdown: for his help, because finally I made it and broke the 3:09-barrier with a smashing 3:08,583 , beating GTsail2 by 0,736 seconds, only 0,071 seconds behind DaDuce now!!!
But I guess it's time for bed now (11 a.m.!), driving since ~ 12 hours or so, I'm quite happy with what I have achieved today (#413 in the world).
THANK YOU PEPPER MALLARD, Geezers can still rock :gtpflag:(if they want to... and with a little help from their friends)!
Good night all!:cheers:

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!! :cheers::gtpflag:
I beat DaDuce's time by 0,006 seconds, which is 0,433 metres or 17,05 inches! :D
Good bye Le Mans, I love the track and I love the Peugeot 905B EVO1 Bis LM 1992
and I thank Pepper Mallard :bowdown::bowdown::bowdown: (and also Elias Johansson) for all their help! 👍👍👍
Thank you Peter, but you know: you are an Alien yourself! :D
Elias and GTsail (who beat me tremendously on the very last day :banghead: ) and Jota F. Duarte must be aliens too (with Elias it's for sure :scared:

Good morning Geezers i can#t find a car for the tt Bathurst challenge they are using GT3 cars for this one so the oldest car is 2009 that i can see so far.
So unless someone else wants to run it crack on and see who gets fastest time.

Hi gents, jusgt my 2 cents butt what if for the GZR event we "dare to be different" and use something we seldom (if ever) use? Such as the GT-R Nismo GT3 Anniversary '13, or the car we're using this weekend - Audi R8 LMS Ultra (Audi Sport Team Phoenix) or ?? In our regular accounts everybody and their brother will (as always) for this track and this GT3pp will jump in the most used hotrod - the Z4. Just a thought...

Could we try following like car GT-R N24 Schulze. Week 1> normal 532PP@324Bhp@1350kg week 2> low turbo
578PP@424@1350kg week 3> mid turbo 607PP@524Bhp week 4> 630P@647Bhp@1350kg. If this is OK start driving times.

Hey Deuce run the event if you want, i won't be around much this and next week got loads of other stuff to do.

Will probably do the log ons and maybe run a lap or two early mornings.

Just saw your latest post 👍👍👍 mate sounds good. will see you all on Saturday normal time.

Rite ON Motts :) This plan looks GR8 👍👍 but I think we need to clarify something please, the GT-R NISMO GT3 N24 Schulze Motorsport '13 is the only "Schultz" car permitted, but in default tune - as purchased, no oil change and no turbo - is at 609pp. I'm not seeing how you are seeing 532pp / 321hp. I'm obviously in a GEEZER mentaal state but can you help us with a clarification pleeze bud?

Also, are we doing the Car Wash, the Oil Change and/or Chassis Upgrade for week 1?

With that my 2 cents say - DRIVE ON and GO GET 'EM Old gents!!

For the less mortal drivers like myself, here's a tune with which I just made a 1:58,822 (#239 on the first day, but even as this is not going to hold, it's a reasonable time to start the 1st day with). The tune is a leftover from good old Praiano which I all keep in his original Excel-file (and which I keep updating with some good tunes).
You can download this Excel-file here:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/21844549/Praianos GT6 Tunes 17.6.2016 neu.xls
And here's the tune:

If anyone is interested:
I just did a quite reasonable lap @ Bathurst with the Z4 (1:56.735, #213 ... Sorry GTsail2, but I know you will strike back soon!).
I have developed a tune of my own (based on various other tunes but basically Praiano's), you can find it here:

BMW%20Z4%20Tune%20for%20Bathurst%20by%20Ema-Nymton.png

I have also updated Praianos Tuning Excel Spreadsheet, you can download it from here:

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/21844549/Praianos GT6 Tunes 21.7.2016 new.xls

If you want to watch, you are welcome!

Mots at Midfield edit - use maximum pp possible not 500

I thought the '54 Corvette would be good to run through the month, but I was disappointed when I tried a full 500z+ pp tune on it. Too much power. I still want to use it fully tuned so we'll do that this week and change cars next week. I suggest not doing an oil change to gain a few HP, but it may not make any difference. Give it your best shot.
