Hi bud, where did you find that car? I'm looking in the Peugeot dealership - there's only two sheets on my edition of the game and unless I'm blind as a bat (which may very well be the case!) the '03 Peugeot Rallye simply is not there. I see the '85, and '86 205 Turbo 16's and a '99 206 but not finding the '03. The car search didn't help me either.

Help! :scared:
EDIT- WHUPPS!! I see I'm indeed as blind as a bat!! It's the FIRST CAR - the 106 Rallye,, so sorry- I jumped to the second sheet thinking it would be with the other rallye cars... mystery solved,, just another case of old GEEZER BRAIN FADE!! :dunce:

GEEZER EVENT round 2 open now.

Same car as before, you may oil change if you wish, and full suspension tune required. you may adjust brakes if you wish.

I've spent the $250 on the oil change and this increased the horsepower to 517 for the Honda Weider HSV. I've only run two laps, so there's room for improvement, but here's a picture of my initial results:

The horsepower increase and being able to tune the HSV makes a noticeable difference when driving the lap. My current tune is as follows:

Ride: 65/55
Springs: 12.6/12.6
Comp: 3/4
Exten: 4/3
ARB: 6/7
Camber: 0.1/0.0
Toe: -.10/.02
Brakes: 5/5
LSD: 6/10/6
Wing: 375/575

Transmission:
Final to 5.500
Speed to 149mph
1st --- 3.201
2nd -- 2.297
3rd -- 1.812
4th -- 1.472
5th -- 1.227
6th -- 1.050
Final - 4.430

See you on the track!

Enjoy the trip, Italy was the most incredible place I ever visited. The whole country is a museum. Are you going to the north, south or visiting family?

Thanks friend I am going in "Holiday " for third time and now to visit Genova Ligura coast Toscania Napoli and Amalfi coast and go back Roma Barcelona by ferry. In fact is a lovely country to visit.

Just did 8:13.535 using your tune and stock tranny. Thanks GTsail, very good tune.

For the Geezers who runs Grid Autosport, I have a Excel sheet to help keep track of the car you owned. Hope it will help.

Hi gents, during our Stewy races today (as usual - excellent racing I might add!! 👍👍) we talked about how sweet the set up GTSail290 shared with us works for the Weider. We discussed how we maintain our set up info for our cars,, most have their settings hand written in notebooks, sheets (or scraps) of paper and oft times finding those sheets can prove to be a challenge. I mentioned that at some point I stumbled across a really cool MS Notebook sheet that really works well for keeping the set up info stored in EZ to find folders on my laptop and that I would share that sheet with the GEEZERS for anyone who might want it. That said - here's the GTSail info transferred to the afore mentioned notebook sheet:

I too have numerous sheets of paper, Word-documents and other stuff to keep track of good tunes, but actually I have changed to using "good old" Praiano's Excel-Spreadsheet to keep track of tunes.
Not only has this spreadsheet already a good number of very good tunes in it, but you can add whatever you have found out by yourself into that Excel-Spreadsheet, so you have everything in one place.

BTW: I have asked GTsail for HIS tune of the Toyota TS030 :bowdown:he used on the actual Nürburgring Nordschleife Super-Lap, but unfortunately have not received an answer yet! Whereas he does not have to fear that I might overtake him, this is out of my capabilities! :D

If you use Praiano's Excel-Spreadsheet, you then get something like this for every tune (everybody who is just a bit familiar with Excel will quickly look through it how it works):

You can download Praiano's Excel-Spreadsheet from here:

@EmaNymton - sorry for my slow response. Here is the tune that I am using for the Toyota TS030 Hybrid for the 'Ring TT:

Ride: 75/70
Springs: 16.7/17.3
Compr: 2/3
Exten: 3/2
ARB: 6/6
Camber: 0.1/0.0
Toe: -.12/.02
Brakes: 5/4
LSD: 7/11/11
Wing: 550/770
Ballast: 1, @ +4

I haven't yet tuned the transmission, so I'm just running it with the standard set at 211mph with the gears slightly modified to the following:
1st -- 4.750
2nd - 3.000
3rd -- 2.223
4th -- 1.712
5th -- 1.385
6th -- 1.165
Final - 3.500

There might be another half second to be gained if I tuned the transmission some more, but I was already pleased with my earlier results, so I haven't gone back and done any more tinkering. See below for my best lap from a few days ago:

Good luck!

Thank you ever so much, GTsail!
I will try this as soon as I can, I've tried so many different tunes, one more trial and error doesn't really make a difference any more!
And even though I'm frequently red-flagged (I like it most when out of pure greed I'm too fast in the very last turn before entering the Finish-line and bump into the rails :D:banghead: ), I still enjoy the ride over and over again, it's really good fun hunting my Austrian arch-rival (whom I currently miss by something like 3,2xx seconds or so).
Maybe (and hopefully) your tune may do the trick!?
Thank you very much again anyway, all the best and keep cruising! :gtpflag:

Thank you very much for this, but we must have very different driving styles anyway, since your Tune is somewhat undriveable for me!
Sorry, not your fault, just me being a bad driver.
Have improved by ~3,5 seconds in a miracle-lap, has taken me from #483 to #346 in just 1 lap, now I'm only missing out by another 0.623 seconds to beat my arch-rival here in Austria. Think I can make that some day before the event closes.
Many thanks anyway and safe driving!
Cheers

@EmaNymton - what tune are you using? You've knocked quite a bit of time off your lap, so it must be pretty good!👍

I've just finished another half-hour session at the 'Ring and was able to find the missing half-second:) No closer to the TT leader who has gone faster as well:(, but still respectable::)

Good luck trying to catch the Austrian:tup:

Saturday event will be one makes or whatever we feel like on the day. All 🤬🤬🤬 internet problems are now sorted so should be all ok now.:lol::lol:

HAha internet problems back again, knew it wouldn't 🤬 last. Time to destroy something now.
Where is my hammer? 🤬🤬🤬

Yeah, I have miraculousely found 3,162 seconds in just 1 lap, I was surprised myself that it was so quick. Well, "quick" is relative as you are (and will remain to be) out of reach and I was only #346 in the world, but this is 1,09% of all Drivers, meaning 98,91% of all Drivers are slower than me! How did Daniel Ricciardo put it once in F1? "Not bad for a #2 driver!" :D
My Austrian arch-rival is still 0,623 seconds in front... catched him ONCE but then the lap was red-flagged in the VERY LAST Corner entering the Finish-line :banghead: , but I guess we all know that feeling!?
Well... greed comes before the fall!
Okay, I'm doing something that you Alien-Drivers would never do because it's a NO-GO for Aliens, I drive using Traction Control! I started out (as I always do) with TC 1 but realised that there is quite a lot of wheel spin here and there, so I increased TC to 4 step by step, making the car quicker. In my miracle-round I even increased TC to 5 💡 which may have done the trick with the 3,162 seconds. I then increased it to TC 6 even but that seems to be the point where lap-time is "falling off the cliff", so I keep it at TC 5 for the time being.
I also do a bit of tampering with the rear wing every now and then and the gearbox too, and if I would understand a bit more about the suspension-settings, I might try some changes there too, but I don't dare since I honestly understand NOTHING about suspension settings at all (except that I'm using Brake Balance 10/10 !!!).
Yet there is something else that helps ME (but may be a NO-GO for aliens too: I drive ABS 10!

Basically, I still use the good old Praiano tunes, he sent me the Excel-Spreadsheet he used for his App, and I still use it and add my own tunes as additions should I ever find any. It's the easiest way to keep track of tunes, you can easily add your own ones as additions.
Here's the tune with which I drove my 7:28,420:

Week three Geezer event at nurburgring NOW OPEN
Honda weider again full tune limited to 600pp

I've run a few laps with the 600PP tune and was able to run a 7:51.1x lap::)

It should be possible to run a 7:50.xx lap so I will give this a few more tries, I don't know about going into the 7:49's:drool:
