Guys I was trying to get this resolved before the weekend but it didn't happen, my modem went kaput on Thursday and I couldn't get a reacement on time, in fact is gonna be at least a week before I can get one.
So we're going to need a host for this round, someonne who an do the verification process, save the replay and get a picture of the timing screen on the replay once the race is over.
Also the GTR-LM is getting a 50kg drop.

So you wouldn't be running?

I'd be willing to postpone until the follow weekend.

I'd be fine with that to. I know how it feels to miss a race in a series you organized for reasons that are out of your control.

Can I propose to postpone Monza to Dec 23rd and anticipate Spa to Dec 30th? Keeping Le Mans for Jan 13th and so on every week?

:)

Because two days before Christmas and New Years is the best time to run races.../sarcasm

I' d be fine with postponing this race a week, but we may run into a lot of guys being gone for the holidays or having prior commitments o.O

Well. Personally, i'm not fine to postpone it...
Indeed i'm off PS3 from 12/20 to 01/02.

I think the best way to go would be to drop a round. I mean the series is 6 rounds but only the 5 best of each drivers count. That allow us to not race 1 round if we're not able to race and not being penalized on the standings. And if some drivers can do all 6 rounds, only the 5 best count.

thoughts?

I think RD 1 is an important race for the majority to be at. There's been a lot of testing to have anyone scrub this round.

I agree with the logic though for the rest of the series.

I can do Monza on the 23rd... Though its tight for the holidays. Jan, 6 for spa and forward are great dates as well.

Sounds like we need a poll.

23rd is no good here. We do Christmas at folks.

I think the best thing is to stick to the schedule , if anything we'll just bump Spa to the season finale.
Also we are back to no TC as it is the prefered option.

It will be a challenge in the rain. However I'm sure we all stand to gain a sense of pride by keeping the tires under the car with no aids.

So we're going to run Monza tomorrow?

Shall we do a sign up sheet that way we can see who is planning to be there and then reserves can be reserved. ;)

I'm ready... Hope my team mate Litchi too :)

I'm glad someone else is in the 43s. That maclaren is fast :P

Yea but I had to work lot on my tune before that. And when I tested the zonda with stock tune, I hit a 43.8 in my 1st hotlap. So I guess high 42' is doable in the zonda.

I did the same in the Citroen, lol. Once you know the line on the track, you only need a car that's slightly drivable with potential to run well. Especially at monza! Seems like this track makes even the worst cars handle like ferraris.

I bet these our cars drive similarly. I don't doubt the Maclaren could break into the 42s as well. I wish I had the maclaren to compare :/

Just broke into the '42... 1.42.8xx but only once :scared: Thanks Will for your gear ratios!
Track opens officially for warmup at 4:00 PM US EST/21:00 GMT, quali starts at 4:40 for 20 at wich point the auto start will be set to 20 minutes and the race should start at 5:00 PM/22:00 GMT

Just for a reminder...

Who is gonna host then? :nervous:

we are race today?
Yes, just read the OP...

I can race tonight in this if there is a spot free.

Do you have to use both types of tier during the race?

Before qualify there will be HP and weight check?

Also note your qualifying tune needs to be your race tune. Cause from the sounds of it we won't be stacking grid. We start right after qualifying ends via auto start.

So can I race?

I've done loads of Endurance races before and know what to do. I just wasn't sure if I had to use both types of tire during the race.

Yes. HP and weight regs will be checked immediately before qualifying. This means once you've been checked, no going into settings menu for any reason. Get your tuning out of the way BEFORE reg checks!

Also note your qualifying tune needs to be your race tune. Cause from the sounds of it we won't be stacking grid. We start right after qualifying ends via auto start.

Qualifying will be done like it always has in Jav's series. 20 minute qualy in the DRY just before the before the race (qualy starts at 4:40 EST). I will set the room to dry and weather change of 0% to make sure, and at 5:00, qualy will be over. I will take down the positions and reset the track to race settings (25% weather, changability to 1, 0% surface water. I will call out starting positions and we will get back on track and start the race. During the pace lap we will line up in grid order. Pole position sets pace. ~60mph, strict 60mph coming to the green. When pole gasses it, the race has started.
