It might be useful to have the list of multiplayer trophies in the OP, Famine. Then we know what the targets are.
 
I got it (the 20 pistol kill one)--

You can't kick by yourself-- you need a majority like in the lobby.

To kick in game-- turn on your phone, select phone book-- everyone in the game will be there-- select who you want to kick.... select "kick"-- when a majority have voted to kick they will be kicked.

I can be there thursday-- just have to wake up a bit earlier then normal.
 
Might actually be able to make it online tonight, though not for 8.30. If you're all still on by around 9.30pm then I should be able to make an appearance, punctuated by trips to the kitchen to make dinner. Working 4-9 has it's disadvantages...
 
4-9? Weird. Yes, we'll still be on at 9:30, we've tended to do about an hour and a half to two hours before. Given we're starting half an hour earlier. 10:30=11PM finish is probable.
 
Many thanks to Sureshot for hosting once again. Many funs were had once more.

I'm going to have to mailshot the Group though. The most we've managed is 4 GTPers in one game, which is a pity when I reckon we could get 10. I'll update post 1 to reflect available trophies and who needs what. We got the Top of the Foodchain one to at least 2 of us - maybe Spuds and the random too.

I got dropped right after the 2nd match started and the game read it as a kick so wouldn't let me re-join. I was running wireless again but have since configured my router so I have a NAT 2 connection (enabling UPnP-Universal Plug and Play does wonders) -- I've had no NAT disconnects but have had a couple of the "lost communication with one or more users"

I did get my 50' cable yesterday so ran that from my modem to the PS3 for the next game-- no issues after that-- it read it as a NAT 1 again like it did the other day when i moved my router to the living room.

I wasn't a fan of the boat race (3 laps) or the southern switch race (4 laps)-- those were too long-- Famine won them both as well as the taxiing race on bikes (5 laps)... I like the GTA races better but at least their are trophies available for the "Race" mode-- we got Famine well on his way-- if we are going to do races for trophies then I urge the host to set the game as 2 lap, random track, sports or super cars or motorcycles, clear weather (I prefer mid day) -- this will make the races go much faster-- I was getting bored after falling behind a bit-- you looked like you almost lapped sureshot on that southern switch race ;)

Congrats on the 20 kills in that first Deathmatch Famine-- you barely got it-- you were much improved from the other day (or I was alot worse)-- Spuds ended with 24 kills/24 deaths in the prison pistol deathmatch #1

I've never done a boat race before, and I really enjoyed it, but you make an excellent point. There's a trophy available for 20 race wins and it'll take probably two or three sessions of plugging away at 2-lap races to push the trophy out to as many people as we can.

More shots seemed to find their way home - though I did get capped twice by the random despite clear headshots and him not appearing to fire until after I was already dead.

I got the trophy with 6 minutes remaining and spent the rest of the game hunting out Sureshot so he could kill me in the face, but we fell a little short, so we rigged the next one :D
 
I loved it when I tried to run you over with the Ambulance, Famine. Very funny. I agree about the boat race, too long, Southern Switch, good track. Think we definitely need more participants to make those races good. The airport race on the bikes was good, especially when me and Spuds tried to get both bikes through the gap between the barriers. He went flying, "Sureshot ran over Spuds..." :D Definitely do bikes at the airport again, especially if we can get 6 GTPers. Enjoyed parts of the prison deathmatch, though I swear people can kill me easier than I can kill them.
 
You know, I reckon you get more accurate the higher level you get in MP. I also found it very peculiar that with me standing still, you still needed two shots to the head to kill me, whereas I've been one-shot-headshot-killed with a pistol before.

When you weren't shooting me in the knob, that is...

I've changed post 1 to reflect the trophies available and who needs what. I've also mailshotted the group (less the regulars and those already posting in this thread) to make them aware of this thread.
 
Missed this one last night. Was working late, then went out for a meal.

When is the next one? You may need the cannon fodder that I supply...
 
If anyone wants (or needs) Top the Midnight Club, I know what to do to make it as quickly as possible. I got it.

Edit: I just read Famine's previous post about this trophy, and I think I must tell you (to save time) it doesn't have to be 2 laps. Set 1 lap, traffic/peds off, clear weather, and use supercars. I got this in about an hour and a half with a friend. With more than two people, it will take longer. Better to do it by couples. I'll help anyone =]

Ahh, sorry I've missed all of these events! I've been really busy with schoolwork and got distracted by CoD: WaW. I'll try to attend any further meetings.

I'd also like to join the next game.

Is there any way to "reset" my Minus955 account to start earning these trophies, rather than creating a new username? I'd like to keep all my trophies in one place. If i'm not mistaken, reseting the internet connection settings resets all the GTA stats, doesn't it?
 
I got my PS3 back, i need quite a few of the trophies, when's the next game? I've already got the Rockstar one so o need to worry about that.

Nope it doesn't-- I've done that alot lately, trying to get my router to work without dropping me all the time-- I kept all my stats and trophies.

You can keep your minus955 account-- and still play in GTP games. Just make sure you let the host or others you want to play in a game. You are on my friends list-- If we forget to invite you (I think I saw you one when we were playing yesteray)-- send a message asking for an invite-- I get confused who is who on my friends list or I would have sent you an invite.

It would be nice if you could group friends in your friends list-- ie create a folder that says "GTPers" or one that says "Death Match Friends" etc... or at least add a comment next to the persons names...

If you want to update the lists-- I need almost all the trophies--

I need all the same ones you do except for:

(I have these ones that you don't)
Join the Midnight club
Team Player

I had no idea the "coop" mission trophy had those times-- those are pretty aggressive times-- would be hard to do without some serious coordination (assigned tasks) and probably some head sets-- add to that I have the "bomb da base II" glitch-- what happens is most of the time as I approach the ship, I get kicked out of the game without a message or anything-- just get a black loading screen for about 10 seconds and end up back in single player-- I thought it was related to my crappy connections but tried it when connected to my modem directly and it still occurred... I've only had this problem since the "trophy" update patch-- I'm going to delete game off my hard drive and reinstall (re-download the updates) and see if this fixes it-- just haven't got around to this yet.

Works for me.

Since we've had little by way of request, and we can't guarantee the 10 players needed for the nightmareish trophies, we could go for the Top/Join the Midnight Club trophies - 1 lap races with damage enabled. We should be able to plough through and get the trophies for everyone attending - or at least get a huge chunk of the way there to finish off in another session.
 
I'd really like to join in, but the time zones are a real killer. GMT 2100 for you guys is 8:00 AM in the morning over here, and because I have to work weekdays, I can only join in when you guys play a game on Friday or Saturday night (Saturday and Sunday mornings for me).

I'll keep an eye on this thread and if a game happens to be scheduled for those times, I will be there.

BTW, I added you to my friends list Famine. I used your GTP_Famine ID, if that was the wrong one, let me know and I'll add your other one. :)
 
I can't see an obstacle to a 2130GMT start on a Friday evening (give you a half hour extra in bed :D), but it's up to whomever hosts.

If you want to set up and host a game, no-one would object - just give us plenty of warning to get as many of us as possible involved.

If you think the boat racing is fun you should try the helicopters :sly:

The online racing on GTA is better than GT5P half the time. Not bad considering it's just a small percentage of the entire game.

As usual unfortunately I probably won't be online for the next meeting, I just have far too much going on at the moment. Haven't been on the PS2 or PS3 for about three weeks now :indiff:

I know. It made me laugh once when I got a message from someone I raced against on GTA saying that I punted them :lol:
