Szmissz do you have to pay for repairs when you damage your car?

Any sign of the 400m/1000m runs or are they gone completely?

@ beat the beat: this could be an early build.. Did does not proof it, right?

I'm quite certain that the TV settings make no difference in erradicating Screen tear, nor does the make of TV.

That's correct, it's the result of a rushed and/or poor job of building the tracks. On all the GT PSP's tracks the seam tearing is white, but the team actually went to the trouble of making the seams black for Nurburgring (that makes it a bit less noticeable during replays). This is something that you're most likely to see when watching replays with the TV/broadcast/dynamic camera.

You can see the screen tearing in this video, the wipers are often split hoirzontally from two different frames.

Not saying that there isn't tearing but that is a recording of a screen which is then encoded on youtube. There is no way you can tell if it is tearing or frame skipping as youtube encodes at 30fps while GT5 runs at 60. It could also be caused by the recording equipment.

The only way to tell personally is to view it with your own eyes with direct feed.

Cant tell, dont have enough money yet to buy more cars.

What about the ones you already have, are you able to race mod these?

Or is it a surprice:nervous:

Ok. There is no tearing! Constant 60 frames all the time!

You were so convincing ;)

i didn't say constant 60 fps, i said i haven't seen any tearing. From my knowledge tearing isn't necessarily connected with the frames per second, or level of details. But it doesn't metter 👍

Wonder how long that would take to do a lap in a kart?!? You probably would run out of juice after the bridge I expect :)

No you wouldn't you could run a kart for 40-50mins or maybe more on a full tank.

He proved it!
Videoed the opening of the celophane and everything.

He does seem a bit uptight tonight though, thinking something like a nice cold drink, cigar and a comfy chair might do him better for the next half hour or so ;)

No, you dont have to pay.

Didn't see any sign of these tracks. Like Vegas in GT4 right?

That's a different problem which won't be in GT5 (I hope). Honestly I'm not sure why they bothered clearing the screen, they could have just shown the previous frame through the cracks and you'd never notice.

I'm pointing at the youtube movies.. I know amar has got the final build :sly:

:D:D I didn't even realise this.... I looked at the track and not at the wipers...

As anyone confirmed if you are able to do standing starts on each track?

I especially want this to be the case for the Top Gear test track so you can accurately compare your times to the lap board on the show.

IS there those annoying shadows on the plates of the cars?

RM are RACE MODIFIED cars ready to go.
It's nothing to do with the options for modifying we have.

I don't think that's quite accurate.

In one of the videos from earlier, a Lancer was taken to the Racing Modifications area in the Tuning shop. There, the Racing body was available.

Which seems to mean that "RM" means a racing body is available for that car in the Racing Modifications section.

One thing I'm not liking is the lack of Standard models at any one time, there was a very small number in the used car showroom in one of the leaked videos which was shocking to say the least.

Mr. Amar, it looks like we need a bit of clarification: Tuned cars vs. Racing Mods. What's the difference, if any? Are there different tuning options for them? You don't have to answer it right away, but it's a something to think about.

Szmissz

with the dfgt or any other wheel can you change the full lock settings?
from 900 to 200?

can you pause and save exit endurance races and continue later on

It's better not to realise :(
Hopefully it won't be too distracting, but wipers are the last thing you want when there's screen tearing.

Yeah you are right, a racing modification in this case is when you take your road car, tune it then apply the modification as compared to a ready built race car such as a SuperGT or Rally car.

What about the option to turn ON / OFF the LOCKED CHASE CAM? Do we have it?

If there were no tearing and you would drop half of the frames, there would be still no single frame with tearing. But as we see in the picture, the tearing is there in the 30fps and it has to be then in the 60fps original source as well. This is a simple question of logic.

Face it, Master Yamauchi is the Master of unfullfilled promises...

This is what i am talking about, how many cars have a racing mod theme/body which you can select from gt auto

Szmissz how about physics engine ?

Is it harder than in GTAcademy ? or easier ? harder than GT5:P?

How about that Skid Recovery Force - did you try driving on different settings of that option ? is it hard set on min ? at least as hard as GTAcademy or easier ??

And thanks a lot for sharing info with us :)

About 17 cars can be race modded.

Just read some pretty cool stuff on the first post that got me real excited (some annoying things from previous GT games being corrected FTW)!

Supershouden brings up a good point, I am also interested in this if you have time Amar. Thanks

No, cant change. You can choose amateur, prof and simulation wheel options.

Dont know anything about endurance races yet.
