** Dont start the race in my lobby just because you feel like it or cant be bothered to wait when someone gets dropped. Have some respect for your fellow racers, if it were you getting dropped you would want us to wait for you. The last 2 weeks we have waited for jam, everytime bombe gets disconnected i always give him another shot or two. And i have always given someone time to get into the lobby if they justed signed on or are having connection problems. If you have something better to do, go do it - this is just a video game and really its all just a fun way to waste time anyway.

So, I just did a 3:27.464 in the Pescarolo C60 Hybride. How does that laptime fare? The car understeers, but at the same time, its not got much traction, but it's manageable.

Sorry Bermuda...I had no idea that Golfer wasn't in the room...I never noticed him leave or sign off....Thats why i just hit start....to me everyone was on track and we were just sitting doing nothing......Didnt realize Golfer was missing....I couldn't hear you guys Mic's at all..i saw the little speech bubble but i couldn't hear anyone.. A typed message saying exactly why we were waiting would have helped.

Lost 5, with a 3:22.380 in the Minolta. I guess you guys might be less reluctant to go over the chichanes, but I was keeping it clean.

Ahem, no traction control, or anything else for that matter, pushing to the absolute limit is actually quite difficult. Meh, i'll try again in the morning.

Are the LMP cars really alot quicker with a high RPM turbo fitted. I was just running the car with no turbo fitted and limited to 680bhp. Best lap time I could manage was a high 1.14 low 1.15 in qualifying and race pace average lap time was probably high 1.15 to mid 1.16 on laps where I made no major errors. Will add turbo to Mazda later on and run some laps to see how much faster it is.

I will probably either keep running the Mazda next season or switch to one of the 908s if its its available.

I don't run a turbo on my cars, less torque makes it more manageable on low tires imo

The top 4 are defenatly correct. Tissimo said earlier he came 5th, pj said he came 7th ahead of BK. Kirk and cj were 9th and 10th. So by the process of elimination that means razor must have 6th :)

Anyone correct me though if I've made any mistakes.

Wouldn't that be 3:17's? I was only just doing 3:16's last season with 838 hp. Over a 3 minute lap with all the long straights, I expect to lose a lot more than just a second with around 150 less hp :)

I think I'll need some help to set up my MINOLTA, but really, I should've had another MINOLTA just for this track...

Before i race recap i just wanna let you know i had one hell of a day lol......

Starting the race from dead last......i make quick work of 4 cars before turn 1.......Then!!There was the absolute absolute Assault from PG-JM...comeon man....You dive bombed me into the corkscrew and Turn 1 for 7 straight laps....Every single time! You did the same thing to Bermuda KID as well....What the hell??.....every single freakin time you rammed me out of the way twice a lap after i re passed you...both into the corkscrew and turn 1...........He should lose all of his driver reputation points....ALL 18....at that point after you did it to me for the 6th time i decided to ppay you back and tried to ram you off the road the way you were doing it to me!!!

Perhaps this needs to be put it the group if you want somebody to get penalized :p At least I've put you in TBD-mode until you decide whether or not you want to make an "official" incident out of it :)

Just join the CM forums. They have a whole section devoted to F1 general discussion. I'm talking about it there :)
 
I'm the latest in the list to be deleted by Johny as a friend. He wanted the weather as rain, but I wanted it sunny. So I changed the weather to sunny and stayed on track settings so he was unable to change anything. Anyway he shortly realised what I was doing and he got very angry and deleted me. I mean it was only a joke :D

Senna was deleted for multiple bumps. I was deleted, albeit a good 10 hours after the incident, when I suggested he should watch My Little Pony to calm down. Jamman was deleted for his weather settings. Funny. In fairness, what do you expect from a 15 year old. Wait no. His GTP profile says he is 22.

Then he decided to make a room just for him and MU and we just stayed after he left. We said that if MU changes teams next season then MU will get deleted as well.

Surprised no one has mentioned that THEY deleted HIM... instead of Johny deleting everyone himself. Must say, I once considered deleting him because of a verbal assault against me... but nah, I'd rather be the cool guy who strikes back and making him apologize, lol :p
 
Looking at the standings to keep a top 5 in the championship... I'm going to need Senna to place 3nd or lower.. Or Johny to place 6th or lower... or blaze to sleep in again, lol.

That depends on how your connection stacks up. It real life motorsport, there is the ever lasting possibilty of a car failure (Vettel at Korea). This is GT5 and we don't get that but what we do get is connection issues. You could be in 1-2 one moment then the next thing you know, neither of your cars are in the race and your rivals are 1-2 instead

O.k. composure regained.....So after PJ-GM spun out after dive bombing me into the corkscrew and getting on the dirt......to my relief....i quickly pulled away from him....Then i came up to the back of Bermuda kid and we had a little entertaining battle until i was able to pass and quickly pull away......then i ptted on lap 17 ......Then had about a 10second gap to Razor70 that i brought down to 0 within a few laps....Then Me and Razor70 had a nice little battle that ill post the replay of later on........After passing Razor i quickly pulled away from him as well.....by that time the leaders where far gone in excess of 30 seconds and i was in 4th place ad that is wehre i finshed the race.....I had plenty of speed to make quick work of everyone but wanting to pass cleanly ii lost so much time to the leaders having to pass 8 cars on my way to 4th place

Sorry if I may have bumped you a bit, I may have been a bit too eager in getting up the grid and getting some clean air, but many of those dive bombs were me getting braking wrong as well. And you guys were braking rather early for the corkscrew as well, so I often had to take evasive action. I think you're exaggerating a bit though...

Plus, you crossed over the pitlane to pass me into turn 1, which is an illegal overtake. So we both have our fair share of bad racecraft.

It's looking quite good :)

This is actually the only race where I want Mav to turn up. The more cars that can get between those 908 Oreca's (especially MU) and 1st position the better :D

look at what I posted earlier before you get 100% confident. And don't put your hopes on Mav. I heard MU is going over to the US on Firday with his PS3 just to take Mav out for an extra long binge drink and then kicking him awake all night until he is sure that Mav will wake up late.

Exactly, plus, I was running full downforce on that lap. I'll take some off when I get back on track to probably get more time.


Is anyone up for practise now? Just PSN me and i'll start something.
