there are a lot of penalties coming for ROUND 6

I wouldn't be surprised. I think I will get one but Kirk will too so it won't matter.

My expected penalties:
3s penalty x 15
10s penalty x2

If these are right can I get 10s of penalties removed?

Golfer, how much you gained from it? I doubt you're the one being penalized most :p

I'm guessing it's primarily the top 3 drivers.

I don't know, how much do you gain from cutting tetre rouge and the final chicanes? Oh well, Kirk will get penalized for what happened with blaze so it won't matter that much (at Monza last season, I didn't let Allin by because he couldn't catch me while he was behind me because I was so fast in a straight line and then I got disqualified)

kirk was in last............. im not going to bother with that. +1 lap

BK, if you do want a steward then, if I'm slow next season still and no one else wants to do it, I will happily steward, provided it is 'in-race' stewarding and I get to give out stop and go penalties
And golfer: Stewarding in-race can't be the solution. You can't be everywhere, so you haven't got a chance to give out all the penalties you want ;) Besides, the last thing we need is a police officer / judge / dictator :)
Yeah, I also feel in-race stewarding is an interesting idea, but it is too hard to pull it off. Since you can only focus on one car at a time, you would miss so much as far as giving stop and gos out for cutting corners and such.

I suppose you could focus on only groups of cars running together, but then that prevents you from seeing someone cutting or doing something shady somewhere else in the field.

And it wouldn't work for a safety car either, because to be a safety car you'd need to have two stewards. One to watch the action in spectator mode and one to sit at the end of pitlane for the entire endurance race and wait for the call to take to the track.

Unless turnout is drastically lower, those are 2 slots out of 16 that could go to racers.

Then again, if we could find someone with a capture card who would record the races and focus on the action from spectator mode, then I'd be all for that right there :D

they are all the same

I know, and the common thing about them is: the penalized / punished person would always hate them afterwards. And I thought we were a friendly group (well, at least most of us are).

Another thing is that stewards most likely go through the action a couple of times. Here we only get to see it ONCE, and then it's time to judge. You can't do that and be right everytime.

Considering what I posted my 'they are all the same' about, either you are talking about race stewards or you are possibly Denmark's biggest criminal witha deep hatred of authority

I have to chime in that I love being the slow, creeping car to help star in the most drama-filled video to come out of this race series up to this point :D

you know what Golfer you made another dumb comment from nowhere, you can now stfu, fk ure rallycross thing, delete out of my list.

And I bet you haven't made dumb comments AT ALL...

to be fair, your the one that signed up to a FGT championship that runs a exactly the same time as the rally cross series

EDIT: I did a few laps at Fuji Speedway and I think it would be a nice addition next season. The GT layout is more fun to drive but the F layout provides an extra overtaking oppurtuinty. Also, in season 4, it would be nice to have a streeet circuit to give extra challenge

I guess that means I need a new teammate

*cough* I'll step up to the position of teammate at GT Bull. Still using the GT-One in S4, no? One rule though, NO TEAM ORDERS :p

That wouldn't be an issue if you only penalize Johny

This. Johny's attitude is very annoying now. Since I took pole in the 800km of La Sarthe, he's been calling me a cheat. Johny has very poor sportsmanship and needs to fix his attitude and be a bit cleaner of a driver.

I'm distraught. It's requiring all my physical strength to just type this I am so distraught. Johny swore at me and then deleted me. I'm heartbroken. I thought our friendship was unbreakable.

No team orders obviously. I have no need for them, unless you do!! :sly: Why would you think we would lol? Pretty clear there wasn't any last season as we knocked each other off the road at Laguna Seca :p

Anyway in reply to your teammate request I'll have wait and see. Maybe. I've already expressed some interest in maybe using the bentley. And I want to wait for the regulations to come out before I make my choice on car. I used to think my GT one relationship was unbreakable and I'd never change. Sadly this is no longer the case. I may still use it, I may not. Plus I can already confirm I've been contacted by a few drivers already by PM, PSN messages etc already expressing interest in being teammates. Let the rumours begin lol. So, yeah basically put, maybe. Thanks for the offer non the less :)

And I'm not one of them. That's one down :D

Even if BK isn't planning on doing some races this Saturday, perhaps some of you would still race?? Just asking, I'm ready, but I can't host.

I can host but preferably not at the same time that the races are normally. probably at 2pm EDT / 7pm BST. It makes it easier for me. I will be hosting a pre-season for the rallycross the next two sundays to work out how ot balance the field. Monaco this week, Eiger W next

I'll either use the 908 again for next season or the Sauber C9. God that car is pretty and its got tonnes of downforce.

I believe Fuji used to be used, but everyone got bored because it only had right hand turns :)

I really don't want street circuits tbh. The only one I can really think of off the top of my head which may work is Tokyo. All the others are too cramped and will only cause crashes. I know your going to say now: "Well that's part of the challenge" - but it isn't really. At street circuits you can go wide, make a mistake etc and just bounce off the wall and carry on. Plus most street circuits on this game are pretty boring anyway :)

Hey! Fuji has err 1, 2, 3 left turns if you do the GT course. Yeah. Also, the street circuits are good if you get the right one. Tokyo REVERSE would be brilliant to try out however normal is good too. The only other possibilty in Madrid due to the complexity of it all but it is an unpopular track. If only we had the old New York rendered in Stereoscopic HD
Oh and a night only race at SSR5 would be epic since that track is brilliant and doesnt let you just bounce off the walls when it goes wrong

Who wants me o host some races on saturday then?

I hate Tokyo R246 lol but love Madrid. Nothing beats climbing all over the kerbs inches from the barrier. I will decide my car depending on testing after the regs are confirmed. I would love to have you host some races on Saturday. :)

Rome reverse is the only street circuit in this game that doesn't make me want to shoot myself in the face.

I have found another lover of Rome!!! I love Rome, Madrid (the final chicane is pure joy) and Tokyo is ok. I love SSR5 and used to hate Monaco until I tried rallycross there in which case it became brilliant.
