does anyone have any complaints about car performance, this is the round we have to adjust cars..... if not you wait till after Round : 5

Either Jake is having it just a tad too easy or he is suddenly coming good

Agreed the Bentley is incredible even with 60kg ballast. My best lap with it around Nurburgring I set a 1:45.0. I think it's the best car but I don't think it's too good though. There has to be "a best car" and it's the Bentley but not by much so I'm happy the way everything is.

Although that is interesting. I found this post from a while back:

just telling you now, speed 8 wont be fastest .

:)

I don't know, that Speed 8 still seems like it has an oh-so slight edge over the others. But, I can live with it.

Ehem... Jake has always been good... besides, he was far from the fastest at Fuji, he did a 1 stopper....

EDIT: It's funny how it's only the guys in GT-ONE that is complaining about it... like they were expecting to beat everyone.

And then I'm looking at the 1-1.5 sec gap I'm down every lap compared to the fast guys... and I'm not complaining about anything.

At Indie at the weeknight race he was EXTREMELY fast in the R8 (.5-.7 seconds faster then anyone else.. maybe more, not sure if anyone did a 1:20, lol) setting a 1:19.5 in pre-qualifying. Jake just is a quick driver. The Bentley is still a front running car, but doesn't have an advantage over the rest of the field.

i just dod a 144.6 round nurburgring... and before everyone says u should concentrate on long runs... i have started them. but out of interest who beats this time??

EDIT: to back it up
12 laps:
2in 44s
3in 45s
4in 46s
1in 47s
2in 48s
:D

And isn't it also funny that when Jake goes quick it's all Jake, and Jake is epic (Jake you are a good driver. I'm just making a point as your about to see), but when me and Blaze went quick last season it's all the car and thats what won it for us

How on earth are you doing 1:44.6? I mean, I did a 1:44.8, which I can only do on a 1 qualifying lap basis. Either you cut somewhere or used to much runoff, or you're just a really good driver 👍 I'll go with the latter for now, great job man. But you can't be pushing that hard in the races though. Your tyres will be baked, and you might end up 3 stopping.

Yeh I kept doing quali runs until I eventually cracked it. I did a load of 44.9 and each time I made a mistake until I finally got a clean run.

Well IRL F1 this year, it wasn't HRT or Williams wanting off throttle blown diffusers to be banned.... it was Ferrari pushing the most to have it banned

Make sure you're doing the last chicane cleanly. Not cutting there ;) 2 wheels on track at all times.

If ur comparing ur team to ferrari then ur massa :p

I like that golfer compares me to HRT, while claiming to be a Ferrari himself :D

You're gap is probably so big because of your car. We all knew from day 1 that the Peskys were just off the pace from the Audi R8 '05, GT-One, 787B, Sauber, Minolta, R92CP, Speed 8, just about all of them

@Peter
So, you're saying we should limit all cars to match the Pesty? Because that's what I get from that post.

The MINOLTA wasn't faster in the long run.

I don't think it's too much slower, I can keep up with you in the race - but I got trapped at Fuji and lost countless of seconds on the long-straight every lap.

The C60 Hybride is faster than the Pescarolo Peugeot. But we have made some breakthroughs in the past week :D

On a lap to lap basis, the Minolta was faster, a frontrunning car, but its tyre wear was dreadful, and it was difficult to drive fast in, almost as hard as the Sauber is.

Anyway, let's not go limiting even more. I don't know for myself, but I don't really see the Pesky as a very fast car. Not nearly Audi R10 levels of hopelessness though.
