FACT: since the last sets of updates the last few months , tire wear is less dependent on cars, and more on set up. You run that high camber, and soft suspension for better turning and handling & LAP TIMES, your gonna pay for it - in rubber.

Very unlikely I'll be racing tomorrow. I've had massive stomach pains which started last night and I've had all day today. Unless I make a miraculous recovery I'm not going to be in any shape to race :(

As for me, I'll be on PS3 a lot less after getting a massive bollocking from my parents for playing too much etc... :p
 
Me and Jake had a little practice session yesterday. To my surprise my settings were all for nothing. Seeing as how me and Jake both use the same car, there's no reason for me to be THAT much slower than him, even if he has great experience in the car compared to me. So we got to the root of the problem. Controller Sensitivity. While he was running at 7, I was running at -1! 8 notches below. Lets just say the results were felt immediately. Turn in was much sharper, left to right/right to left transitions were much faster etc. I am feeling much better now that I know I was at least keeping midfield pace in the settings I had ran. Now with a little more practice I can hopefully challenge closer towards the front.

Oh yes, that is a huge help. I remember when I switched on the sensivity the first time... what a rush, lol :D
Now I'm using a wheel, so I can't benefit from it anymore, but I don't mind that, whenever I race without the wheel I feel like there's a hole in my heart.

Nurburgring is going to be a great race... I just have that feeling. And when that race is over I'll start crying for not making the Suzuka race, that race was a world class drama the last time. Instead I'll have to be satisfied with Tokyo or SSR5... :yuck: Why not make another Fuji round, what a great race it was :D

my "pace" tonight (why is pace quote marks??) was completely off form. That is because I came on because I was bored, not because I wanted to test. Thus I was in the wrong mind set to race and on top of that, I was going out soon so didn't know if I would be able to finish each race.

I'm fastest when I have a goal that isn't going fast. A car up ahead on road that I have to catch is the best goal. That is the only time I reach my fastest pace. Some people are better Leaders but some aren't. MU admits he is better off chasing but me? I'm the best casher of them all....

P.S. there are better cashers but I am the only guy that needs to be cahsing to reach their maximum. hehe I would rock the world of NASCAR
 
To be honest golfer, odds are that you don't finish the race. I think that's the most common outcome of your races :)

Golfer form (left = most recent race) last two seasons:
DNF - 5th (last) - DNF - 7th - DNF - 10th - 5th - DNF

Sorry for being rude, but when you compare me to HRT and yourself to Ferrari, then that's what you can expect, lol :D

All of those DNF's had good reasons.
DNF at Indy in S3 was due to the Pesky being rubbish adn Doctor WHo being on.
DNF at Monza was because I was 3 laps down on the next car up at about lap 7. I don't want to drive in the rain for 50 mins acheiving nothing.
DNF at Laguna was actually a disconnect. Not my fault at all.
DNF at FUji was due to similar reasons to the DNF at Indy in S3. It all went wrong and then I didn't have any competitors and was in a poor points scoring position.

And why does the 5th for Indy S4 have a (last) sign. It was actually 6th and there was another car in 7th. If you include all people that didnt leave it would only of been 7th and there would of been about 6 people behind me.


Oh adn I said I was racing BECAUSE I was bored. Not bored because I was racing.

If you would rather watch doctor who.... why bother to start the race. Or you can just get a dvr, or you can watch if after the race on bbc iplayer - its not like its live
 
I might not be able to make the main event today. I have a really tight schedule but I'll try and show.

If I don't make it in by the quality race I won't be coming though, so no need to wait up at all :D
