Oh and Bermuda, the only reason I watched Doc Who instead of Indy was because he only person I was racing was jml1010 and he quit the race and left me way behind everyone with no one to race.... and I was faster than jml.


Why is it no one cares when people retire but when we give a reason, everyone gets really annoyed?

Oh and if you go back to season 2, I started and finished every single race I entered. 4 DNFs in 12 races is a veery good record. And 1 of those was a disconnect. Meaning that in 12 races, I have quit 3.


AAlso, Jamman, you should turn up, at least to watch the race.

Ahh I didn't know if you knew or whether it was a joke. Obviously I can see it was a joke now. But I could tell as soon as I saw it. Very interesting I was the only one who saw it wasn't F1 2011

I was reading through the DTM thread and was thinking that we could possibly experiment with their idea of having a rule where you must use all three racing tyre compunds during the race. They also have pit windows which you must pit during. You can't pit outside these

That sounds horrible. Takes a lot of strategy possibilitys away. We don't want everyone all doing exactly the same thing and pitting at nearly exactly the same time.

Also, has anyone seen the GTP Online Racing Bureau? It is a governing body for GTP racing. At the moment it is still growing but once it is fully set up, I recomend we could use it to increase series publicity.

I might sign up to it as a journalist !!!



Oh and Jamman, the whole pit window thing designed to stop cars dominating races through pit strategy. Would you rather watch two cars battle endlessly for 10 laps and then one pits 5 laps earlier and gets a 5 or so second advantage from the under cut or would you prefer to see two cars battle endlessly for 10 laps, pit within 2 laps of each other and both come out, still battling equally on track?

Beisdes, you still hav the strategy of when to pit in that 3-5 lap window (depending on circuit) and what tyres to pit onto

I had a feeling that was rFactor. But yes, at higher settings in dx9 with a well rendered/made track it does indeed look better than that.
