As long as Samhain gives me a draft I can keep up as long as I'm 5-6 car lengths behind his bumper. Otherwise his exit speeds are up to 3 mph higher than mine so he's much faster overall. 👍

Sucks that I won't be racing with you Samhain. It was fun while it lasted!

Or if possible, squeeze in and race in group B :) (even though i did not submit a quali lap).
 
I'm not %100 on that filp. Just going by the last time I raced him, in which he was DS3'ing it up.
Also, I'd like everyone to let me know of any adjustments I need to make. Like if I got a color, control, whatever wrong.
Or even if you'd like to add your car's nickname or you got a new mic so I can add that snazzy mic icon.

well my car colour actually isnt dark. is rosso scuderia. its a light red and my rims is a black blue pearl coulor. i wrote it before:D
 
can people save there replays of the race and post them up after? These slower cars always offer really close racing so I am sure this should be a great race?

I thought lobbies could hold 32, 16 race an 16 able to watch but it seems that from what I have seen this is not possible? Or am I missing something?

Cape Ring is the track that is giving me fits right now, but I haven't put in much time on it yet and I know where I'm loosing time to the really quick guys. I'm only at a 2:48.4 right now but with a bit more work I know I can get down into the 2:46's and it should move me up a good bit. I really don't know how much time I'm going to devote to it though, as long as I'm in the top 128 and move into round 2 I'm not going to be too concerned about it.


And yes I'll be at race 1, still running silver/bronze.

I own a g25 and an old DFP, I just dont have room to use them anymore; and my table isnt thin enough for the wheels to clamp onto. If anyone is interested in buying a g25 PM me!
 
I'm interested in buying a G25. But I have obstacles before I can get one... and I'm sure I'll never be able to find one as cheap as I want. I'm sure you're not willing to part with it for a hundred bucks though. :p
 
Wardez, thanks for making the info graphics. I think they will be quite useful in getting to know the field. Everything looks correct for my entry except you can add that snazzy mic graphic to my detail.

New here, not new to gt5. Would love to participate in this. Can anyone kindly instruct me in what I need to do other than the car set up to join in on this. I see it starts tonight and would love to get involved in some nice organized racing online.

Hopefully someone has a capture card and they can upload the replay on youtube. I made a video of Turbo and I battling in one of our practice races a few pages ago, but that was just recorded off my TV. If our practice races are an indication to the racing we will have tonight; expect some entertainment!

Yeah 5:30 works for me. I will probably have the room up earlier than that as I have only a few more things to do this afternoon. I will name the room as instructed and I will also post the room number in this thread.

I will compile the results in a spreadsheet and e-mail the file to you so that you can maintain the information in whatever manner you desire.

Let me know if you need me to do anything else.

Senna was arguable the best and definitely one of my favorite drivers but, as my avatar shows, James Hunt is my absolute favorite! :D

I think private lobbies can hold 32 with the 16/16 division. However from what I've read it's better to hold public lobby races as the connection seems to be better.

Another thing to improve race quality is to DISABLE mics during the race. I think that should definitely happen as lag certainly isn't something anyone wants to deal with.

* Qualifying: 7:00pm EST - USA
* Race Time: 7:30pm EST - USA

For anyone coming in that is not signed up to race, it's too late to get into the first race at this time. I may post up an additional qualifier for empty spots tomorrow night. You have to be committed to the rest of the season though. I don't want to fill spots that are only going to be used once or twice.
