Nice Arnie impersonation at the end of the Corvette Z06 @ Daytona video.
Also noticed that Vette's tires got dirty after you ran on the grass. Was there a noticeable loss of grip until the tires cleaned-up?
LOL at the Arnie impressions...

Cheers! No doubt, I'll continue to watch your vids AFTER the game releases!
Nice ..... Hey Chis, Have you played Iracing, liveForSpeed or Rfactor?
How do you compare the Physics on the PC sims to GT5 ???
Don't know if you had this question before but i'm really want to hear your oppinion couse you are a really good driver and know about driving physics![]()
Or an old favorite: 'Get to da choppa!' Pretty sure there was a shot of a helicopter in one of the rally clips from previous trailers.
Yes, tyres do get dirty, and i already mentioned in one of the videos, that unlike GT5P, if you run into the grass/dirt with just 1 or 2 wheel, you immediately have a noticable reduction of tyre grip 👍
im using IRacing and LFS for practise, and i can say that GT5's physics are awesome, great, ultra realistic, just IRacing has it more... how shell i say... a tiny bit more accurate perhaps. But then again... how many cars did PD have to apply physic to?
AYE
ya when i saw that choppaaa in se air, ferst sing i sougt wos, GET TO DA CHOPPAAAAA

YESSS!! ARNOLD IMPRESSION. awesome.
You live in Graz? Beautiful city. Cool bar in the center of the river near the Kunsthaus
Awesome commentary.
looking forward to race online!Chris, my first job when I fire up GT5 tomorrow is to add you on PSN.
Brilliant videos, insightful commentary and very very funny, thanks for making the wait for this master piece easier to bare.....
Now what happened with the roll over vid, did you manage to put the car on it's roof?
thanks again for those highly entertaining videos, chris.
it´s nice to hear you´re planning on doing videos past release.
my advise: give the community their time to enjoy gt5 by themselves shortly after release, then return with hd captured video commentaries on a regular (maybe not daily) basis. i guess it´s hard work to capture, edit and upload four to five videos a day.
and, of course, i´m looking forward to meeting you on track (but who in here doesn´t)!
Virginia, USA.seems like you know what youre talking about! where you from?
Chris
Sorry.
I meant, take the Miata you were driving for example; if you had tried to shift without using the clutch, would the car in-game jam or not let you into gear until you depressed the clutch?
I saw in one of your other vids with the Subaru that you stalled it.![]()
Hey Chris.
Once again, great thread! I'll apologize in advance if you already answered this. In the end, you chose the Miata to begin with, but what other cars did you consider? Did you consider any FF (front-engined, front-wheel drive) vehicles to start with? A FF vehicle would have allowed you to use that vehicle for the FF series, but then again, wouldn't have the rotational properties of the Miata, so handling wouldn't be quite as good.
Ignoring the premium vs. standard element for a moment. For those of us that will be starting our GT Life games this week, do you still recommend the Miata, or would you have chosen a different vehicle to start with that was more versatile for the different series.
