Chris, I just went to your website. I would like to ask you how this game compares to real life.

Well I am mainly talking about the physics. We all know the graphics are better than real life. Laughing out loud, i am just kidding ha ha.

please continue doing these vids Chris. Absolutely enjoyable...👍

Hope to race you one day! if you see a little Fiat 500 in your rearview mirror on Nurb :D, please move your Merc out of the way  ;)

Keep it up Chris, we're loving it. :)👍

LOL at the Arnie impressions...

Good to know that not all standard cars were created equally... just have to take the good with the bad. Also noticed that Vette's tires got dirty after you ran on the grass. Was there a noticeable loss of grip until the tires cleaned-up?

Cheers! No doubt, I'll continue to watch your vids AFTER the game releases!

Nice ..... Hey Chis, Have you played Iracing, liveForSpeed or Rfactor?
How do you compare the Physics on the PC sims to GT5 ???

Don't know if you had this question before but i'm really want to hear your oppinion couse you are a really good driver and know about driving physics

Aye, and since he likes to call the AI cars 'enemies', it would be awesome to hear him say: To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women.'

Or an old favorite: 'Get to da choppa!' Pretty sure there was a shot of a helicopter in one of the rally clips from previous trailers.

There was a noticeable loss of grip with dirty tyres in GT5:Prologue for a few corners after driving on the grass/gravel using Pro Physics, so I would expect that this effect has been recreated at least as well for GT5 proper 👍

I love the videos, Chris

All the best
Maz

In my opinion you are a professional commentator.:)👍

I also think you should continue even after GT5 is released.

You are also really funny! Keep doing what your doing Chris!

Yes, tyres do get dirty, and i already mentioned in one of the videos, that unlike GT5P, if you run into the grass/dirt with just 1 or 2 wheel, you immediately have a noticable reduction of tyre grip 👍

im using IRacing and LFS for practise, and i can say that GT5's physics are awesome, great, ultra realistic, just IRacing has it more... how shell i say... a tiny bit more accurate perhaps. But then again... how many cars did PD have to apply physic to? :sly:

AYE
ya when i saw that choppaaa in se air, ferst sing i sougt wos, GET TO DA CHOPPAAAAA

Chris

YESSS!! ARNOLD IMPRESSION. awesome.

You live in Graz? Beautiful city. Cool bar in the center of the river near the Kunsthaus

Awesome commentary.

Chris, my first job when I fire up GT5 tomorrow is to add you on PSN.

Brilliant videos, insightful commentary and very very funny, thanks for making the wait for this master piece easier to bare.....

Now what happened with the roll over vid, did you manage to put the car on it's roof?

thanks again for those highly entertaining videos, chris.
it´s nice to hear you´re planning on doing videos past release.

my advise: give the community their time to enjoy gt5 by themselves shortly after release, then return with hd captured video commentaries on a regular (maybe not daily) basis. i guess it´s hard work to capture, edit and upload four to five videos a day.

and, of course, i´m looking forward to meeting you on track (but who in here doesn´t)!

Well i tried couple of cars, with different setup, but so far no look, but i also no why... it depends on what driver level you have ;)

now that was exactly what i was thinking 👍

By the way, i hope that PD/Sony will put the GT5 servers online, as soon as that happens... expect a video

Chris

Great vids Chris, really appreciate them!! Keep going dont stop even if we do get GT5 (shop will not hand me my SE till Wednesday), keep us updated about your impressions....why did you not do any commentry about the rain physics  ...but yeah, dont stop keep posting cant wait for HD captures, but also want hands on live commentary like your first 4 or so videos. Thanks for the effort and time you are putting into this 👍

Yes Chris, I for one will watch further videos as you're doing them in a one can say empathetic style, really enjoyed them dude. Also your driving manner towards the AI is gentle and mature although you're not even half my age. AI appeared to me as if they slow down a bit too much at turns.
"..Anyways.." for me it's quite obvious you're an enthusiastic and rather drive a car than play a game. Keep on sharing your passion.

Haha the beginning of the Z06 video was classic!! You're very good at these commentaries. Very natural.

And yes please continue the videos even after the game is released. They are very enjoyable. I even just tried to add you on my PSN friend's list but it wouldn't let me because your list is full haha.

Excellent videos, very enjoyable commentary! Can't wait until Wednesday, even though I'm going to be out of town and away from my wheel through the weekend :(

yes (answering your question on your last video (Corvett) about making more of these videos)

i'm not gonna be abble to play GT5 until march/2011, and until then watching video like those give me a taste of GT5

Sorry.

I meant, take the Miata you were driving for example; if you had tried to shift without using the clutch, would the car in-game jam or not let you into gear until you depressed the clutch?

I saw in one of your other vids with the Subaru that you stalled it. :dopey:

Hey Chris.

Once again, great thread! I'll apologize in advance if you already answered this. In the end, you chose the Miata to begin with, but what other cars did you consider? Did you consider any FF (front-engined, front-wheel drive) vehicles to start with? A FF vehicle would have allowed you to use that vehicle for the FF series, but then again, wouldn't have the rotational properties of the Miata, so handling wouldn't be quite as good.

Ignoring the premium vs. standard element for a moment. For those of us that will be starting our GT Life games this week, do you still recommend the Miata, or would you have chosen a different vehicle to start with that was more versatile for the different series.

Hey Chris. I know it's almost impossible for you to answer everyone's question, but if you get a chance, I'd love to know your response to my questions above.

Thanks again for making the wait easier for us all! 👍
