Well you can if you want to be DQ'd for running in free run and not the seasonal.;) Also those splits may be possible if one of the aliens turn up.:crazy:
 
I already got a 22.294, so I know the first one is.
Any gains I find in t2 screw up t3 so far though.
 
Pff, lousy maintenance, had a good hour of time to run today, but no dice.
Finally getting a hang of the steering and throttle, now to keep it out of the barriers.

A point about the car then... that spoiler :sly: just had to put it on.
 
Thankfully I live on top of a bigger hill in a higher city.

Since PSN's down I thought I'd share.
Just wild stuff going on everywhere around me, and I literally can't go south, because a river runs across, and said river swallowed the earth. Hardest rain I've seen in ever. In ever.

It's pretty dry right here, the benefit of hills. :)
I plan to find the picture of people literally kayaking in a parking lot down the road, one that isn't connected to water, just a 5 foot deep puddle.

Need to find a way to get a faster T1, T2 is basically eyes closed and go for me.
 
Slowly getting this combo. For me the hardest part is T1 and the first right-hander after T1: maintaining speed and shifting at the right moment to keep grip. The T3 with this lap got me laughing when I replayed it, lots of oversteer, but somehow fast. :embarrassed:

I've had a few 22.5 T1s so I hope I can at least get a 22.6 T1 together with a good lap.
 
I'll be withdrawing for this week, my TCS went back on after turning it off a few days ago and I forgot to look.
I tought it might be going too well and I can't improve with TCS off sooo. see you guys next week.

I haven't seen 22.1, but a sub 47 T2 I could definitely see, you just have to nail both sectors, and finish well. :scared:

No, plugged in this week Peter :) Can't repeat that sector 2 with a decent 1st and 3rd though. With a better T1 I end up backing off through the esses. Good old mutually exclusive sectors đź‘Ť You're going well on the online leaderboard too mate. I've had a couple of quick goes with the Evo but I'm 3 tenths off you as it stands :cheers:

Great one Ian đź‘Ť Going to be nip and tuck with you and Peter.

I managed quite a tidy lap with a good gain at the line - my theoretical best is still another 4 tenths faster but realistically, this may be about my limit. Seen a couple of 22.5s and quite a few 22.6s but can't match my 2nd sector with them. Sector 3 also very variable with up to half a second difference. Crazy week. :)

I tried, I tried and I failed. :banghead: Two nights and I just can't get any traction in this event so I'm going to just skip it and save some energy for next week. I think I'm missing some fundamental techniques for dirt rally... just sticking to tarmac for now I guess. Good luck to everyone.

I remember rally being much easier in previous GT's or am I wrong?
 
I think it's the TCS, with that on one rally is as easy as pie, this is trying to feather the throttle perfectly while steering perfectly through a twisted maze. :crazy:
Fun though, I thought, just can't catch my lucky lap.
