Thanks for posting the tune Kev 👍

And I figure there is really only one way to enter the Nordschleife - on one wheel!

Nice setup Kevin!! 👍

First clean lap of the evening and it's all I have time for.....damn this long lap! I think I've done 20 laps now but only 4 clean ones.... Was a little slow at the end as I wanted to bring it home. Makes quite a difference having the gears setup right....was immediately way better on top speed.

Edit: Nice splits too, Kevin...crikey :scared:

This combo is FUN! I've put in 15 laps, with just one good run to show for. But everytime I start a new lap I've got this big smile on my face . Nice combo Kevin

Thanks to Chris too for the great setup 👍

Wow, looks like I really suck in the GP section of the track.

I told myself (and my wife) I wouldn't run a WRS that includes the old section of Nurburgring.

I thought I'd buy the car and do a quick run to prove to myself that this combo wasn't worth my time. I like the track, but seldom run it, and I'm not familiar enough with it to be comfortable.

Unfortunately, the car is excellent. I never drove it until now and didn't know what I was missing. It can handle a very aggressive setup and still be very stable.

I don't know if I'll end up submitting this week but I will spend my share of time learning the nuances of the track.

My main issue is that a two minute lap is hard enough to run to it's full potential, much less this monster.

It would be hard to miss two weeks in a row though , so I better get to work.

Never a problem on the tune. Nice line! :)

Nice setup Kevin!! 👍

 on both accounts, some new ones for you below. ;)

Glad you are liking it.

I'm thinking those 4 hours spent here in the Challenger a couple months back are paying off. :scared:

I should say they are Kev. Great splits mate, fantastic early pace. 👍 You're going to be right on my bumper or pulling ahead by tomorrow. :scared:

I might try your tune.... :sly: I know mine will do the job since James is killing us with it but I suspect he'd do that with any setup. :P

About lap 4-5, dumped several more after:

35.664
24.427
20.325
43.018
31.779
27.066
47.178

Kev, what was your torque split? I tried it at 50/50...

I'm running Praiano's tune right now, but have given Chris' and Kev's a quick trot; seems like it will take a variety of tunes and driving styles well. Can be smooth or outrageously aggressive, it seems. Trying to find the (still probably nowhere-near-the-) limits makes for heart-thumping work for me, and many grins, so I cannot help but wonder what it feels like for fast people! What a combo!

Sorry, missed putting that in the tune post. And yeah, this one gets my heart going and literally makes me sweat.

35/65.

My suggestion of 50/50 was for a controller driver who found TC to be needed. Higher front torque bias is the lesser of 2 evils in that scenario.

Updated Tune. Changed final drive from first post, and added torque split here. In find that in the low speed stuff, you can steer really aggressively and get the car to rotate. A little brake input may be needed at the same time, but it really cleans up your lines in spots.

And here is my setup.

Torque Split - 35/65

Gears

Move ratio all the way right
Top speed all the way left

Set these

As was said earlier you would be ok on the grey in the Nordschliefe sections.

Always fun to watch you drive, Mr. Fish. :dopey:

Grey part is OK as well.

Ok if the grey part is 100% there is 2 section where i can shave something.

Sorry i did not see the earlier post with this , i think i can go faster , i have to check again the replay from Peperni, during the shootout 400PP , there is a lot of things to learn there.
I`ll try again during the week, i think -1.500 is possible for me to shave.
Let`s see.

 WOW Kev, 4sec+ improvement, amazing. 👍

I get confused about where the sector points are, so here's a visual guide. I should really just spend this time driving. :dunce:

I know that there are a lot of areas around the track but since there is a specific section called Nordschliefe, can someone please point to something that depicts this area. I really don't know anything about the track except it's called Nurburgring. Beyond that I did find these turn names and none of the def's talk about specific sections.

Lefty, the Nordschliefe (North Circuit) is the bit that isn't on the new GP track as Barra says.

Here's another link to a more detailed map as the one above takes a bit of poetic licence in places... bigger map clicky link

Thanks Carlos 👍 I can now post my fastest lap shows. I thought that if the inside tire was on the outside of the candy cane on the gray stuff but not on the grass I was toast. Cool :)

3rd try, only doing one lap at a time, lose focus if going around more than that!

Great combo, Kevin. I like the car (had never driven it before), and I like your tune also. I will also try a couple more tunes posted here eventually.

I will post my splits as soon as I have a clean lap!

My attempts to pass up my sloppy ghost tonight failed. Sector 1 for some reason is killing me and I've thrown away so many laps. I can't get consistent at all there.
