For those who are intrested and who want to do a full try out of the race on Sunday i am setting up the following :

Thursday 20/06 19.00 GMT - Full practise (22laps) at La Sarthre - 3D3 B room

1. GTP_Racingworld - 458 Italia - 100%


If you wanna join, past and copy the above part and add your name. This race will be held in the B Lounge, as normal quali or practise can go on in the Main. You do not have to finish the race, if you wanna join for one stint, that is all ok to 👍 Please note that this will be the first of two full practise races, I am planning on running another one right after the quali deadline has expired on saturdaynight.

Zed can't make a GTP_... account until wednesday he said, but he'll join soon. Cobaiye and Jcade both will be joining ones they got a wheel and got used to it. Swiftpro wants to join when he gets used to his new wheel.
It's funny how you got me to sign up, now we're both getting everybody to sign up. :lol:
This is just a big snowball effect.

Aww no, what happened?

Also, gunna try and 'Book-in' early, any stewards going to be available on Friday? I will be available from 15:00 gmt until about 22:00 gmt. I will post again on the day when I'm on, so not a big problem, but just thought I'd make sure someone will be available as I'm leaving it quite late.

Got a good lap, but was dirty :(
The other lap was way under my potential. Oh well, that means I have to be better in the race :sly:

That is a bit unlucky, but I am sure you are not the first one who overcame this ;) And you defenitly will not be the last.

Nice to see the grid is filling up for our full practise race 👍
 
I can confirm that I will be able to take part this Sunday :)

I'm completely torn between the Ferrari 458 and the McLaren MP4-12C. The Ferrari has the best handling and is easier to drive, while the McLaren is much faster on straights.

I'll sign up for the practise race once I've decided.

EDIT: Finally decided on the Ferrari 458. It took a run in the rain with each car to swing it in the Ferrari's favour, the McLaren was just too tough to handle in the rain.

EDIT 2: Just realised that weather is not being used. Now all of a sudden I'm unsure again :confused:

I'm sticking with the Ferrari for now, but I may change my mind yet.

Hi Matthew, nice to see you will be racing 👍 Just FYI, we will not be racing wiht weather changes, only time changes..... Incase that would still influence youre choice

@ everybody : Be aware that almost 20 drivers still need to quali. For the drivers that are doing the fullpractise : I will be available after the race to watch qualy's if needed. If people want to qualify tonight they will have to ask for another steward (watching the RL quali's at Lemans tonight :) )
 
NOTE: I believe most of the drivers in the GT3 series are already signed up for this upcoming team based event, but just in case you missed it:

I might not be able to do the whole race but I hope to do at least 1 stint.
 
Quick question about the practice race tonight. Is the room opening at 19:00gmt or you wanna have the race started by that time?

Edit: Well, stuff has changed and it looks like I will have to pull out of the practice. Annoying, hope it goes well.

3D3 Room Bopen for practise, in about an hour we will start the race. We might start a few minutes later as Stef might be joining aswell, but might not just make the start time.

Nice to see that the GT cars in the RL Lemans quali's did a 3'55.xxx , so we are actually quite close to reality :)

I'll be in the room in a few min should be nice to see how everything works out in terms of pit strategy and general racing should be good. :)
 
I've finally decided on using the Ferrari 458 for the GT3 series. One blisteringly quick lap at the Nürburgring was enough for me to decide.

Just about to come in for the practise race...
