I am also no tuner, but am learning. As always I was using @EDK transmission, I did find if looking for a little more rear stability, raising the rear downforce helped a lot with that, and doesn't really seem to effect speed because you are able to go through the corners much smoother.

I also lowered all suspension parts to the lowest, helped with grip but it was very unstable if you caught a curb. I know I need to play with these but some suggestions for people trying to figure it out.

I would suggest tuning LSD before moving those other parts. And make the car work with low aero, because someone will.

Take all the goofy PD toe settings out, take out all the aero, tune the LSD to suit. Then start layering in new settings. ;)

Yes, but I would try a lower middle number on the LSD, that looks much too high to be useful.

We can only argue about the car being faster with or without TC. The other aspect, if a certain driver is faster with it, is really up to the driver and his/her skills. So the unavoidable answer to the issue is no, the car is positively not faster with TC.
This is a tuning week, so I would suggest trying to take advantadge of it by using setup to moderate oversteer under throttle. High rear downforce can help, and it won't be as taxing as TC.

I actually agree with you, for some people they are faster with it on, now from my experience I personally did get faster once I learned to drive without it, but not everyone is me.

Welp, I drove about 40 laps today with different tunes and so far the mix @Argon with @EDK gears seems to be the fastest, at least for me.

I was able to go almost 1sec faster than my previous best and according to my optimal (which is a b:censored:h) there's still at least 0.7s left in there for me.

Guys I’ve cocked up somewhere along the line.

It has bugged me all day at work as to why I somehow was topping the splits board and couldn’t get my head round why knowone was getting near my first split time. I’ve come home and got to the bottom of it and found my hp was up at 590. God knows what’s gone on there as I go right down the board hitting default at the start of every new event so can only assume I missed that one.

Obviously I’ve rectified it to the correct setting and I’m just glad I’ve spotted it and not after submission

I’ve just run a lap to post new split times and obviously put myself somewhere I should be

    Once again sorry guys

There are a lot of bugs, noticed brake bias can zero, at Blue Moon I would be giving it the beans in 3rd and I've had it change to 2nd bouncing off the limiter.

There are others too with replays and the like.

An hour of testing today with @Argon 's tune, but with TCS 3 because I can't control the car otherwise, my right finger isn't sensitive enough. Lots of improvement in all sectors, optimum says I can shave an entire second off my latest best lap.

Problem is...never managed to line them up in a single lap, I always had to screw up something  but I'm getting there, hopefully...

Update on the tune after getting some advice from @EDK (thanks Kevin) I knocked the accelerator sensitivity on the LSD back to 17 and it made a huge difference to being able to get the power down out of the chicanes so the tune now looks like

    Code:
    BB 0
TCS 0 <- set this to your preference
    RH 72/82 mm 2.83/3.23 inches
    NF 2.95/2.95
    ARB 7/5
    DFC 55/55 (stock)
    DFR 85/85 (stock)
    CA 3.0/3.0 (stock)
    Toe Out 0.15/In 0.10
    DF 325/700
    LSD 10/17/20
Use EDK's gearbox which will be much better than I can suggest

    New splits after 3 laps!

Initial splits for the board - all fully stock with TCS/BB 0- after 113 miles (including c40 on Circuit Experience in the same car).

Always liked Monza in GT6 and glad to see its very similiar in GTS line wise etc.

Really enjoying the car and track and being able to run clean consistent laps for the most part. So far the car has been behaving itself mostly suggesting I should be going faster perhaps !

Looking forward to taking more time off as adopt @Argon 's tune and @EDK 's gearing.

This is the rest of a Ferrari tune that I slapped together. Not too refined, but hopefully someone finds it useful.

That explains the issue I’ve been having with getting the power down out of the first chicane! I can’t wait to get back on this on Thurs with the new settings

Finally back home with the wheel. Can't drive with the DS4, I'm awful.

Using @EDK's tune 100%. BB 0 First 20 laps or so. Lesmo's are killing me, I think, as I've only seen a tenth better in sector 2. Been over a tenth quicker in sector 1 and I know this final sector is pretty lame, but it's still early. :)

Used @Argon with @EDK gears, knocked a full second off after 15 lap stint.

Tomorrow if I get chance i will try edk's tune and see what happens.

Stole @EDK transmission again and gave it another go. Ran into a penalty or two at the usual places, but eventually put in a much better lap. Now to set the car up to be faster out of every corner.
