First conservative laps using @Bellin 's tune:

    22.314
    52.861
    37.738

Mr. Bond does like to drift every once in a while but I imagined it much worse than it actually is. Challenging but fun combo.

Ooooh, good combo. Nice few sectors *dink*. Ah, maybe next time *dink*. Humph, concentra*dink*... :censored:

Do you expect me to complete a clean lap?
No Mr Bond, I expect you to use your steering wheel as a chew toy! :boggled:

    22.591
    53.442
    37.926

    Not touched the suspension yet.

For those struggling with this track. This is a nice track guide from @Tidgney. It helped me understand the track back when i had no idea what i was doing. I know the car and the game(gt6) aren't the same but still there's enough info in it to help out what to do and where to put the focus on.

@Tidgney I love how a 4 year old video still contains relevant info! good job!

Changed the gearbox this time and made changes to the suspension and LSD. The car felt a bit more stable this time :D

The vantage does get pretty stable after lowering the ride height. I was surprised with the difference. I’m gonna play with the LSD next.

First splits for the board all stock after 96 miles run today.

They say a change is as good as a rest and boy the heavy Vantage is a real change to the Ferrari !

Looked at the car stats Max Speed 7.9 - Interesting; then Cornering 2.0 & Braking 2.2 and thought oh dear.....

Actually though the Vantage is pretty good going uphill and downhill so far but stopping it from speed is another matter entirely............look forward to seeing how tuning can help - pretty sure anyway that Q section would have 'modified' this car for Mr Bond's use including stripping weight - pity we can't lighten it !

    63/64
    95/95
    1.0/1.5

    BB +2
    The transmission flip...

I excel at painting walls and visiting beaches at this track.

    22.707
    55.968
    39.926

I did 50 miles with Bellin's tune  and now will try shoenboggie's.

It's interesting how these different tunings can give the car different personalities, yet given enough time I would probably find approximately the same lap time. Both of the setups I tried are a bit too oversteery for me, so I took shoenboggie's tune and lowered the tail height to 3.94 inches. It's still a bit squirrely, but that's all I've got for now.

Its good to be back behind the wheel this week! I really like the feel of this car with @shoenboggie’s setup, I only hit a wall once in 10 laps:D

Still loads of time to find but a busy week at work may restrict my track time :guilty:

I’ve gone for a very patriotic livery this week, British racing green & Union jacks :gtpflag:

@Nerazzurri being pedantic it's only called the union jack when flown from a sailing vessel. Union flag or flag of the Union when emblazened on a screaming Vantage :cheers:

I had the rear ride height at 3.94 just before I settled on 3.97. Balance the car with light throttle to help control the oversteer.

Car is very sensitive to corner speeds, curbs, road camber, elevation changes, mechanical grip and braking. Other than that it drives great.

Erm... I'm pretty sure setup doesn't matter as far as I'm concerned. :dunce:
Originally I set it up quite soft. I've just slammed it and cranked it to the max on all suspension settings except camber at 1.0 front and rear and wheels at 0 toe.
    Tranny flip to taste.
    LSD 8, 13, 15.

Just took off .6 on my 1st test lap and had to share. *****?
