Now I feel silly.
You are not alone
Well then there's 3 of us - He said that to me who asked: "Question: the green cobblestones in the last corner - How much car may I have inside?"
When you see this in the rules on a city track:

  • All hard surfaces are track
...then it means all the run-off areas are legal. 👍

EDIT: Just watch out for walls! :scared:

I wish I could too...
I get a really good lap, stringing all three sectors together, I touch a wall somewhere so faintly I cannot here the bump, or I redlap...:banghead:

Early go at it:

30.150
57.616

There's a lot of time left out there.

That's me!! I either kiss a wall or spin out. :scared:

Done some more testing laps to fine tune the set-up and, currently working best for me is: TCS 2 (Us old people need help to counter using x/o :p) and brakes set at 2/8...it is locking up nicely into turn 2 and have managed to improve by half a tenth in S1...oh, not much is it? lol. Have also managed to find a better brake in/line through the 90 right hander. Have been quicker in both S1 and S2 but not combined (my best would be about 3 tenths quicker than I have been able to put together at once)...if I improve one, I mess another one up but am up on my overall time so am reasonably happy:

S1: 30.117
S2: 57.184

If anyone is struggling for a line around this track then this old video may help. This is not the last TT we ran at Rome but the characteristics of the car are a bit more like the Beemer i.e. old, unsteady and grumpy when pushed too hard....bit like me really

That's always the way. I find that it actually helps me to learn the combo faster because I know my ghost is slower in a certain sector so I'll usually end up going faster there and it just improves bit by bit.

That video really helps a lot. Thanks Mike.

Great to see one of my early WRS div5 victory's 👍

30.050
57.467

Love the track, can see this one taking over my life this week..

Gave this another run, improved my lap and can see where I lose time.

Not sure if I can nail all 3 sectors together but thats the whole fun.

First split slower but faster at line

30.431
57.698

This old lady sure enjoy's plenty of 'Slipping 'n'.Slidding..!!
but I have got a little more out of her.. without going onto the 'Green tarmac'.. lol

0'29'931
0'57.015

First splits, not really happy:
30.168
57.618

38 laps. Nothing to show for it. For me the last corner is the worst.

Patience :) Be zen!! Oh, and there is no grip in that section (at least there wasn't in GT5...) :D
