Doing iracing now ;) preparing for a Daytona 24H soon with my team.

Figure I'd stop in the wrs and drop in a message to see how the wrs family has been. I've been watching, just silently though :p got to meet @Gravitron recently too who helps run the wrs, he's a fantastic guy as you guys know. It was great meeting him :cheers:

Probably won't be on the race spot tv live stream as it goes based on our irating overall between the 3 of us.

Had a new best but got too excited and exited the session before the next timing zone and the replay gets to the line and stops.

So friendly reminder to go well past the finish line before exiting!

Turn off penalties and the chances of that happening decrease a 1000 fold.

I did not know that thanks! I usually put wall collision on high and what not but I'll try this!

edit: I looked and I only had the correction settings on. Just bad luck I guess. I'll turn off those just in case for the future.

Apologies, I should clarify. Wall collision can be on just turn off track penalties.

Leaving about .075 in the first sector but I did always overshoot the final turns when being quicker there. Maybe one more try but I’m already a bit tired from that permanent frame by frame analysises I’ve to do round here ;)

Will submit what I got last night on this event it has plenty of close calls but gets a pass and clean to me, I can't really see me going much faster anyway.. GL to all in the results :cheers:

Also, some clarification: If I put two wheels off on the orange part in both Turn one ANd the final corner but still have the other two on the painted stripes, is that a clean lap? Had quite a few laps (usually slower) where I barely got the car to turn and had that happen.

Just got through combing through my fastest lap and its looking like unless my split can be removed, I won't be submitting that time:

Cannot go ANY faster unless I repeat doing that. Annoys me to know that I finally have a competitive time only to turn out it was dirty :mad::banghead:
 
Cant do anymore, the final sector is a mystery to me, in ten laps the final sector time varies by about half a second :banghead::confused:

3 hours (and quite some missed sleep) later, turns out I could go faster.

Boy did I have to test the limits though:

Many faster laps were deleted because of going over those curbs onto the runoff so it makes me all the more stoked I managed to actually best that dirty lap with (barely) cleaner one.
