Decent improvement thanks to @EDK 's tasty tune.

I was hitting the rev limiter towards the end of Conrod Straight, which I suppose is a sign of good exit speed from the corner leading into it. So I adjusted the final drive to lengthen the gears and it did help.

Using one of the tunes from the thread. Some more pace in there.

Here's the frankenstein tune with Kevs gears and my set up tweaked slightly that got me my best splits last night.. Thanks again for the Awesome gears Kev! this car is sluggish and boring without them

Good luck improving your times guys! This set up worked well for me and much easier to be consistent

Thought I'd give this a go as I've been doing quite well with FF Gr4s at Bathurst recently. :) Still got a few tenths lying round, pretty difficult getting a lap together. Thanks for the gearing @EDK, much better than what I was using.

@EDK tune with small tweak to final gearing and lowered lsd to 35. Ran only .2 off optimal for now. Have seen 21.1xx section t1's so chance to improve there, plus lifted going up the hill.

Well, I'm in for this week as I've had some interest in participating for a few weeks now...

I got these splits using @EDK's impractically practical tune.

EDIT: Improved these splits using a closer gear ratio. Not @EDK's gear setup, but a little further away.

I can't find the perfect turning-in point in the last and first turns. Other than that, I can definitely improve on this admittedly-decent lap.
(I'm using a controller, steering with the left stick.)

    Welcome to the TT's

Turn in for me on the first is by braking just a bit before the mid point between the 100 and 50 boards so that I'm clipping a small amount of kerb on the right as I come onto the straight. Pretty much the same on the last corner but then taking advice from someone behind you on the board might not be the best source for advice

Can you post your updated splits in a new post as fetchy will not parse splits from an edited post

Never was much good here but @EDK tune makes this track a lot of fun to drive. Will try @Mr P tune tomorrow.
    Splits from yesterday

Wall collision set to invalidate and strict is a real life saver here.

Starting to find a Grove with @EDK 's tune and this track. And a 2nd cup of coffee.

Been a tenth faster in sector 1 and need to work on final sector before I can be happy.

Quick 30 minute session this morning.

    21.291
    47.442
    34.284

Also submitting this lap as not sure if I’ll get another chance to run again before deadline now. And, if this is the lap I end up with, I am very sorry to whoever has to check it! It’s tight on a lot of corners, but I’ve just spent 10 minutes going through it and can not see a wall touch anywhere! I think this might be the case with a lot of replays this week!

Improved a bit at the line. Still need to clean up the sectors.

I'm having a issue when viewing the replay.. all of mine so far..where the replay ends just as I cross the line. It is visible that you can see my lap time that I'll submit. I did do 1 full cool down lap after beating the lap but issue is still there. :ouch:

Well if I beat this lap I'll continue to do cool down laps after and hopefully it actually captures at least a little longer after I beat the lap.

Are you saying it does not show the time? Or that it's only visible for a moment?

Quite a significant improvement after some further tuning and finding my way around the track.
Having the penalties set to maximum seem to help keeping dirty laps at bay, lost few (faster) laps from slight wall nudges, which would've resulted in a DQ. I think I shall use the stricter setting from now on for all the TT's.

It shows the time. Everything ect when I cross the line. You see my lap time but just for a little bit as it fades away (replay slowly ends) so as I said you can see my lap time but only for a little bit.

edit: short way of saying it.. You can see my Final Time when I passed the line but only for a short time period.

First set of splits for this week as a late starter !

All stock except TCS & BB 0 with racing transmission (default gears).

Only one lap of 18 clean; so much time to find, especially T3 where was overcautious as this was an early lap in the session.

Give the high percent of invalid laps next session will incorporate most tuning elements rather than feeding them in piece by piece as need all the help I can get to keep the car out of the walls !
