I assume the limited participation & thread activity is because a lot of people are focused on the Spa endurance event this weekend?

Very late start on this one due to real life getting in the way of a great combo!

Anyway, first splits after a 10 lap session,

31.559
1'23.609

Plenty of room for improvement, and fortunately plenty of free time to do it in

@roamer2629 what's unusual the car is somewhat easier to control online. (Meister Fetz pointed that out to me when we were practicing earlier tonight in the WRS lobby.)

Edit: Fixed mistake by replacing offline with online.

Yes it has happened before, the Mini at London was a similar situation, with less wheelspin off than online. I'm no expert at this, but something seems to have changed after one of the updates...

Seems the tank is in the back of the car and you have more weight on the rear axle. Therefore it has less oversteer online - still way faster offline.
On fast and very fast wear online the tires start up super sticky compared to normal tire wear - that was what affected the Mini to me.
That's regular and I didn't feel a difference after an update. With tire wear and fuel loaded the cars behavior always changes a bit. The more light-weighted the car, the more the difference. 950kg empty weight offline and the 100liters of fuel in the back of the car online gives a pretty huge difference in performance.

Fairly bad turn1 in this lap - rest is really good and worth .2 at the line. I want those .2-.3 I miss in sector1 compared to my good splits and I'm happy with my lap.

31.592
1:23.792

Pretty happy now in all sectors.
More time can be found, but i can't stop the walls from giving the Stratos a high five when i'm on a good run. :irked: :sly:

New splits, probably final ones, as i reached the PB's for T1 + T2, but i will try to improve the final sector, where i lost some time (still PB):

31.333
82.533

and .4 at the line

been trying this a couple times this week can't beat the 1;24 mark completely shocked.

any tips on corner speed would be a great help i'll have one more chance on Mon to try

my 1st clean lap (2nd lap overall) was ... welp, i just read we can share split T1,2 & 3. sorry, calculated, its around 1.27,22*
sure it was a safe lap, but what kind of GT6 you guys are playing? @.@

I knew i was right in coming into this new paradigm of the game. I'm gonna love this

Haven't improved the last couple of days but, then again, I have only run a handful of laps as I have spent most of my time running the GT3@Suzuka seasonal as it may well be my first (and only) chance at a top 500 finish in a seasonal :eek: May run a few more laps before the deadline but I haven't been near my best lap for days so not expecting to improve...when I saw the car being used to start with, I had resigned myself to yet another positive handicap result so it's fine. Good luck to those still running 👍

I've been doing a lot of laps (both on & off line) and the improvement has been minimal. Tonight I managed to eek out a very small improvement, updated splits below. My fastest lap so far was dirty because of a small bump, its ironic since the sector it occurred in was a very average time. :banghead:

31.916
1'23.600

I have managed to set new PB times in all 3 sectors (more than once) and that is promising. The most difficult part for me is getting a decent time in all 3 sectors on the same lap. My total lap time can be somewhat consistent but each of the sector times can vary almost 0.5 sec from lap to lap. It's obvious I don't know what I'm doing...:dunce:

I will be happy if before the deadline I can get a lap time were each of the 3 sector times is within 0.2 of my current PB. 💡

Had another run at this after learning a lot from last nights race, and made a huge improvement at the line,

31.593
1'23.277

I lost better T1s to a bang on that 🤬 tiny curb to the left on the exit of Massenet!!

Welp, after 12 or so clear laps, I had to take what I had as my best lap.
At my last day of work before a week of vacations, and most of it will be spending time with the lady.
hopefully i can spend one day doing the 92' TT with the vanquish. already bought it., and probably improve my consistency

my consistency on laps on Monaco was around .3 secs and so. somtimes behind on best lap by 1 second, so i know i could improve way more. Pity

A mixed bag, good T1, average T2, so-so T3 and only a tenth or 2 up on my last splits in total time but I hope that had more to do with a good T3 on my previous lap.

Sounds like most people, me included, are having a hard time stringing all 3 together.

Lovely combo though.

Hope you can find your way and have fun were in WRS 👍. If you want discuss anything in portuguese, feel free to sending me a PM. By the way, never publish your last sector split time (=the lap's time) until the week is completed. Cheers

Had the urge to dust off my GT6 disc and go for a drive. Combo sounded OK to me, so here is the result of a couple of hours (after not playing for 6 months).

Thanks, And I noticed, as I re-read the OP. so I quickly deleted my Lap time.
And thanks for the offering. will take it in consideration, if the need ever arises

I was able to improve my lap several times tonight (in very small increments). In the end somehow my best lap came with a T2 .250 slower than my last splits, more than a combined 0.7 off my PB in the first two sectors and without a PB in the final sector. I most certainly left some time out on the track on this one. 🤬

Final splits accepted

I'm out of time, good luck to all who took part in this humbling event. It was challenging but in the end the progress I made was rewarding. 👍

Just back after working straight for the pass few days and I must protest. I ask for a little help on corner speed to give me a clue where I might be going completely wrong. I thought the point of WRS was a place that people who love GT could come together have fun racing and share tips with each other.

Now thats over I'll have another go this evening and see if I can break the 1:25 mark

Most of the people who could help you were busy at Spa...

Yup, sorry but my style is way to chaotic to give any clues to others. :O

Just call me random racer :dopey:

About to give this a Banzai run. Not that I have high hopes for it though :irked:

Submitted my time from earlier this week. Don't think I can beat it
