Sorry for the late reply, I was busy helping build a house in mexico for some needy locals yesterday and when I got home, I just passed out. I have the standings up-to-date, but you might want to double check them because You and I count points on drops a bit differently, and I am not sure where each person is. So I'll post it up, but it might not be 100% accurate. I know me and tiss are though, but the numbers were a bit different than yours for the past couple races; same spread, different numbers o.O

Due to an extemely lengthy, maintenance period (14 hours) on the PSN itself, making players unable to sign into their accounts an play online, I assume tonight's race has been postponed.

Hards have more then enough grip for 450-500hp and 1300-1400kgs. Putting then on softs will make it mindless to drive.

That's not GT3 regs. Those are more like GT4 regs, or Pirelli World Challenge. When you guys said GT2, I was thinking 1225-1250kg and 495hp. Hards might be fun to you, but to me they're weak and don't drive good. I think Hards should be at least what mediums are- just my opinion.

Maybe with this maintance we can have a full room of racers for next season.We'll need to test it out.

Also,I wanted to ask if we are doing only gt2 for next season or are we doing a mix of gt1 and gt2.

If we are going with both gt1 & gt2 next season,why not use race mods for gt2 class.What do you think?

It's gonna be a single class for next season Tao, we will be using the GT2 Specs from now on. Just like in real life for reasons outside of our control GT1 as we know it is dead...
There will be some additions, but this is pretty much what the Specs will look like:

It's basically updates GT3's with some more power and lesser weight. If you're going GT2- then maybe the ACO rules for GTE should be considered.

We can call the class whatever we want Seth. This Specs have been proven to be dead even troughout all the tracks we use, on the season we used them the quali times and Fast lap times where all within .3/.5 in all tracks for the whole field. I really don't see things getting closer than that.

There's always the possibility, but the only mazda that would be competitive and could reach that weight is the RX7 LM. The GT-R R35 TC will be there for sure.

I didn't say you can't call your series GT2. It's just funny because there isn't any GT2 anymore. And the GT2 that is- is called GTE in ACO. I don't have the exact regs on me at this time, but mostly the cars are 1250kg 500hp. Some cars are given weight brakes and more power to compensate. Like the Evora's and M3's.

It is, but it's still a handful. I would choose it, but I hate the tire wear issues. I think I may go for the fairlady just because I know blaze would go ape-**** crazy if he found out I was driving the Ford. It is the quickest though.

I decided to do a quick test session while offline today. i know it isnt a very good representation of tunes or times, but I figure it must at least be a valid representation of comparative abilities and potential, am I right?

So I tested on one track that brings out the best of what I look for, imho, and that's handling ability, corner speed, and easy of drive. After that, I look at tire wear, and then straight-line speed. I took 5 laps with each car, and then tested a slight bit more on some of the cars I liked.

The C5-R is a good car as well. With added weight to it, the balance can be better with ballast at the rear. And where's the Viper? The Panoz (same situation with the C5 with added ballast)?

lol, in last season i think i made 5 or 6 races with him, i try everything, and the car is too slow, i lose 2 seconds per lap in all tracks, but like i said, maybe its me or not!!! really don't no, i never been competitive in that car last season

We'll see, I really don't want to disturb this rules as S2's GT2 was very very balanced. If needed the Zonda would just be taken out of the list.

The zonda is right up there with the good cars. I'm just mad at it right now, but I'm not taking it off my list of choices. It's just a finicky car, and I'd much rather drive a more balanced, predictable car next season, as driving the Zonda this season did end up being such a great choice.

The car I was surprised was so bad was the Citroen. It just didnt seem to have any grip whatsoever. How did you drive that car this season Jav?!?!

Lol!! I got no clue! It actually was a fast car on GT2 trim and was fun to drive for the first few races, but after the 3rd race it was simply a nightmare of a car!

Are we Running Laguna Seca this coming Sunday? I just moved this last weekend and I was glad they had maintinence. I thought I was going to miss the race at Laguna Seca.

Im sorry again for quitting the race last sunday I've never quit a race before but the fustration of being taken out 4 weeks in a row finally just blew up in my face. 3 of those I know were not my fault wich were me getting rear ended and taking engine damage.

I just ended up having my most fun league turn into no fun for 4 races strait. Like tnt said we spend alot of time practicing and setting up our cars for sunday and I finnally got to the point where I felt like I've grown as a driver in this league to not take myself out due to my own mistakes.

That being said RodeRuner1967 has convinced me to come back. Ill accept any penalties I've warranted if you will have me back.

3 season in the mclaren and i finally worked out my driving skills 4 it now nex season its no more. Say it ain't so.Pleeeease. We can lower the hp or i can giv every1 a head start or.
