Are we using racing hands for qualifying and then when you need to pit change to racing Softs wet rain tires when it's raining?

Tire option is wide open Supra, but you'll need to enter the track with the tires you plan on starting the race with.

Is that a new mod or something? Racing hands...

I don't think that intermediate or rain tires use the soft compound here as they last much longer than racing soft tires, even before the update. But then again, you aren't putting as much strain on the rain tires as you would with the soft tires in dry conditions.

This new tire wear update will make tire & pit strategy even more fierce!
This is were I will be putting all my attention towards.

The difference is quie dramatic in how you need to manage your tires, so I'd sugest we all get a lot of practice.

I kind of hope they did, though it will be bittersweet.

The up side is then there would be tire strategy based on wear and endurance, the down side is then i would have even less grip.

There might be higher TCS settings being ran now.

Both Fords handle about the same IMO. So the Ford Race car to me is a good choice. Unless you're neutering that more lol

RS last for about 4laps before they go off the cliff so to speak so really 4 flying laps in qualifying is not much to be honest

There might be higher TCS settings being ran now.

Traction Control is banned in Division 1. So our tyre wear will be even worse.

The CLK is not a good car on its tyres, or perhaps I'm just not a good driver on the tyres, but while it's not very good on its tyres, it's able to manage worn tyres pretty well. Meaning, you can lap the same pace as others with tyres in slightly worse shape.

Yes they did! GT5 he official game of the 5 lap heroe! We might be forced to turn the wear off and eliminate the pit stops completely... Let's see how it goes for the next round.

i was also think about that option, sounds like the best option just increase the laps 100 lap races with a mandatory pit window of 45-55 or something like that

Truly like to continue with the race at hand. Think of it as a new tire rule for the series. Racers will adapt.



Racing Sunday with current tire wear is my Vote. Open tire choice and let it play out.
