GTPlanet Drift Setting Library: Is the thread, for base tunes for drifting. It can be daunting to start tuning vehicles, especially if you're new to drifting. So i created this thread for us to share our base tunes, for everyone to use and share amongst the great GTP Drift Community.

Quick question. has anybody tried converting 4WD to RWD yet? Can you lock it to 0-100?

Edit: Considering I got no replies I tested it myself. This is still impossible. Remains at 10-90.

I would really, REALLY, prefer we had seperate threads for DS3 and Wheel setups, and of course sticky both of them 👍

The model on GT5 Drifting Forum showed that as long of the process it can be easily a mess, specialy if the OP not take care about update the list.

In a perfect world, the most proper would be create a sub forum only for this objective with one single thread for each car, where any user could post his own. Probably the most famous would get more likes, and then naturaly highlighted. Famous users and "inner circles" also would happen, but even in a perfect world we are not safe from that.

Just curious, why buy a differential if you're going to leave it stock?

Besides the point that you shouldn't drift stock diff's, but oh well. ;)

Because it has different locking values than the stock diff. Sometimes a car already drift well with either the adjustable diff left as is, or even with the stock diff.

I always fully tune a car, so i buy every part. Sometimes i change the diff, sometimes i don't. It depends on if I drive with a wheel (which I haven't done in over a year) or the car itself (stuff like the weight, the power etc.). I tend to make setups that everybody could get used to. I think most of my setups are both wheel and ds3 compatible, but for wheel u only have to change the diff. But that's just my own opinion after i've shared my setups with some friends.

I've been trying to do a drift setup for the HKS Genki Hyper Silvia RS2 '04 but I can't seem to get it right at all , could somebody please make me one for a DS3 controller please? Thanks :)

Not that you "shouldn't" because you drift whatever setup is right for you.

Very basic tune for those wishing to learn to drift, very easy to drift in my opinion thanks to the lower power. Learned of this car so thought I'd share it with others.
