I hope this takes some time to start up, because I'm in the middle of building a tower just for PC games hehehe
 
I'll need to pick up some of the tracks (and the car, for that matter), but I'll consider myself in.

We are at 13 drivers, spread the word a bit more, I think I will keep entries open throughout the season so some people can join during the season if they want to. Ideally want another 3 or 4 before we crack on with round 1.
 
I'm down man, have the car and about 2/3's of the tracks. Ready to roll!

Hopefully this can expand into new cars later on as I'm sure you've planned.

What I really like about this is that I can really get myself accustomed to hosted series in iRacing as I've only run a few custom sessions so far. We're planning on running a Spec Miata series sometime soon (Flyin' Miata Super Cup iRacing counter-part) so this will really help me get familiarized with the inner-workings of the system. I'm especially interested in different qualifying and gridding methods.

I'll be rocking a black livery #11.

Speaking of liveries, feel free to run custom liveries. So please show off your liveries and post where we can download them as in order for everyone to see them we all need them in our cars livery folders!

Oh yeah... first time I'll actually get good use out of making a livery.

In that case I might then be going with the same livery that they used for the Jetta from Fast and the Furious. You know which one I'm talking about xD.

Who's up for a practice session tomorrow with a quick race?
 
What time were you thinking Jav? I've never run the track or the car would be fun to practice with cars running on the track.
 
Was thinking somewhere arround 18GMT since that seems to be the best time for everyone...
 
I was thinking starting practice at like 17GMT and like a 10-15 minute qualifying session at 18?

EDIT: Forgot It's a set amount of laps

Practice race sounds fun!

I will most likely post the round 1 thread tomorrow as I dont think we will get many more joining, at least we can get up and running and people can still join throughout if they wish.

Okay so 17GMT start to hour long practice sound good then? Just wondering cause I was just going to pre order the hosted session before I went to sleep if that's cool with you.

EDIT: I passed out when I went upstairs to get ready to sleep and forgot the password I set for the session something like gtpracetest or gtptestrace oops... Practice starts at 17gmt ends at 18gmt with a 15 min qual and half distance race.

Awesome, so thats 1800 for me, I keep forgetting its summer time here, GMT+1 :D.

I will certainly be in the practice, shall I make a thread just as a heads up to everyone that it will be there, or do you think it will be seen enough here?

Yea sorry about that I just slept through my alarms and what not I was real beat from waking up early for that world tour GP. I didn't have credits on my account so the session didn't go through haha I was pretty tired thought I had some oh well. We should try for a session during the week maybe?
 
So if it starts UTC 17:00 then that'll be 10:00 my time (PDT: -7 UTC).

I have a GT5 race series [Renault Clip Cup] starting at 10:00 on Sundays as well, but that's green flag time.

What you're looking at now is to start practice around that time so I'd like to ask if you'd consider pushing the time up an hour if no one else objects to it? That'll mean more of an evening start for most Euro's but it is Sunday... I don't know, I've been running in the Grand Touring cup with the Jetta a lot lately and I'd really hate to miss this.

If it's a problem the other thing I could think of is that you guys start everything as planned now, practice for an hour and such, then I come in to the hosted session as soon as my Clio Cup race is over to qualify. The Clio race should only last about an hour and some change so it'd be cutting it close depending on how long the practice sessions's going to be set along with the following qualifying session.

Might have to be a warmup session this weekend. Im away at Brands Hatch for the DTM on Sunday so its either move round 1 to Saturday or have a warmup this weekend and round 1 next weekend.
 
I'm voting for a warm-up this weekend and first round next weekend :)
