You modded it or it came that way?

The GTX came that way while the Challenger is actually modded. On the Challenger I painted the bumpers and chrome trim flat black, lowered it a bit, and did a wheel swap. Though, the wheels will change again soon for some even better 18" ones :)

Ok, other than the GMP 1970 Plymouth GTX Streetfighter X I also have ordered and acquired several 1/43's and 1/18's, these being the first batch (total of 7 1/43's and 6 1/18's). Moar pics of moar models as they arrive :sly:

I have been away at college for a while and I haven't been able to post my new display and a couple of my new additions to the collection.

I got a DB9R a long time ago and since we all know what they look like I'll only post one picture haha.

Over Xmas I picked up a Go Man Go Dodge Viper Competition Coupe. The black is matte coated and really pops in good lighting. Mine is 252 of 3000.

I just picked up this Nissan GT-R (R34) Test Car a couple of weeks ago. It's currently the centerpiece of the collection until the Koenigseggs CCX arrives. If that ever happens.....

My dad built this display for me while I was away at college. The cars are all sitting on top of individual Plexiglas shelves that is fastened to the wall. I have more cars than shelves so there are a couple pieces sitting on the shelf wall thing below them. I'm still trying to figure out exactly how to arrange the cars so any comments or suggestions for it are really appreciated.

Nice collection you got there Arkangel:tup:, the Boxster concept, GT90, Mustang Mach III and that awesome Competition coupe particularly caught my eye.
Kudos to your Dad for those plexiglas shelves, they are very cool and a great idea:tup:.

Here's how I would arrange those few cars off the shelves:

(The lines are the way the cars are facing)

Tom:)

That shelving is sweet! Wish I had the room to do something like that. 👍

Appie: Good choice with AUTOart, they do great models with great quality. Once you get one, you'll want to get more. :P

It was kinda expensive though, but i really love the styling of the car and the model detail is really good aswell:tup:

That is the only probelm with AUTOart, good quality comes at a price. As an example, my Porker 911 (997) GT3 RS was just over £60, whilst over companies made it for just under £30. Theres quite a bit of a difference, but I'm glad I made the choice I did.

Oh my, AUTOarts are expensive in the UK
Here in the US they range anywhere from $30 for bargain mass produced early models to $150 for the Signature Edition Mazda 787B. Most newer AA's range between $67 and $109 MSRP.
Anyway in a few hours I should have some new pics to spam of new diecasts :P

Everything is expensive in the UK

It's a shame though. I'd love to have more AUTOart models....

^Thats a pretty sic diorama!
Also that display case looks like the type im interested in purchasing from IKEA.
They have the only one I've seen thats affordable and reasonable ($70).
Where did you get yours Holden?

I got mine from ikea,no doubt its the same one :)

I got mine from Ikea too. In general if the one you've got is the same as mine, which it probably is, then its a great display case for models and if I had a bigger room I would buy another one most probably.

Finally got to set up a background for this sucker, after a year of owning it...

I'm super jealous of that Sauber!

I want one but I have no where near that much money to spend on it :(

Only reason I actually have one is that I got it at a reasonable price (£140 isn't too bad for two highly detailed cars that I like a lot), the normal price I saw for them at the time was around the £230 mark.... :scared:
