Auto Art's the best you can get for the money i.m.o.

I heard a lot of hype about Kyosho's models, so I picked up a Kyosho NSX. When I took it out of the box, I was shocked.

It is one of the worst models I've ever seen; about the only thing that impressed me was the paint. :indiff:
 
I have a few Die Cast models, but I really love putting together plastic ones (where you have to paint, glue, etc). Sometimes, if I mess up completely on one, or just find spare parts, I use them to make a totally custom model. I have lots of spare and extra parts to use. A friend of mine gave me a model of a 67 Mustang Fastback that he lost a few parts too (no engine parts, and some interior). I put in an engine from the Kellogg's Thunderbird NASCAR, and used a different steering wheel and different bigger tires that filled the wheel weels nicely. Cranberry red with dual silver stripes, and its lower as well. I had some left over swede (the fabric, dont know how you spell it) and used it for the carpet. I also put in some sparco's from an Integra model (made by AMT I think). I have a picture on my friends computer, so I should have it up tomorrow, or a little after I have more loading problems with GTP.

For Die Casts, I have A Dodge Viper GTS Coupe (1997, gold edition), Ferrari F50, Ford Focus, Challenger.

Im currently working on a C5R and a Prowler atm. I used all the yellow on the Prowler, so Im going to make the C5 all black.

I usually go to www.towerhobbies.com for my models.
 
Right now I'm working on a '66 Charger model, already put together the HEMI engine, just got to do the interior. After that I already have a '69 Charger R/T model waiting.........I'll put the 440 in it.

Yeah, that be sweet. I don't wanna tune the Skyline, cuz it cost me $50. I might buy one of the crappy $25 Skylines and give it a go, tho.

After hearing alot of hype about Kyosho's model's, I picked up a Kyosho NSX for double the price of an AutoArt piece, and it's shi*.

im getting an autoart impreza wrx for christmas and its the only one of that make ive ever seen in my local shop or anywhere in my local area come to think of it so i snapped it up real quick and then said to my mum 'youre getting me this for christmas!' :lol: :lol:
 
Most of the cars I own are Auto Art, but also have cars from, Maisto, Burago, Hot Wheels, Mini Champs (F1's) and Biante
 
I just started collecting earlier this year but I already have about 15 between 1/18 and 1/24s. I keep them at my dad's so the next time I go up I'll give you guys a complete list but here's what I can remember off the top of my head right now.

i have cars made by autoart (christmas;)), maisto, Bburago, NT, road signiture, tonka, and revell but most of them are Maisto, NT or Bburago
 
Anyone know where i can find any 1/24 or 1/25 scale plastic American Muscle kits in England, South East? Becuase i want to get them and combine them with Funny Car kits to make hot-rods, my dad used to do it. I dunno whether he still has them , they might be in the loft. If we can find them i will take some pics but im not promising anything though.

duhh thanks for pointing that out my bad!:embarrassed: i dunno why but i always thought it was a cossie just with a different kit or summit but i just looked at the back and it says "escort wrc" which i never noticed b4 :odd: anyway thx for sorying that out :lol:
