I don't know. It's worth noting that Top Marques has a record for getting features wrong.

I looked up 1995 Tom's Supra and found the following:
Product description: 1/43 Castrol Tom's Supra JGTC 1995 White
The wing and bonnet grills check out, but not the mirrors.

Some blogger cut & pasted some block of text from Tamiya's website, mentioning 1995.
Everything checks out (from what I can see).

Everything else I find is like the first example, all but the mirror location. You can see I am an academic with car history.

You are correct, I am wrong. I didn't know the JGTC and LM cars were so alike. I guess I got it mixed up with the '97 TOM's Supra.

Supra LM:

Either way, if it does get released, I might want to put some money aside and consider getting this and the TSM GT-R LM. I mean, these cars were the Gran Turismo icons, and what got me into cars after all.

EDIT

So I received a mail from CK for a 15% discount on any order. Then I found this from $220 to $130 discounted on their website:

Slap in that 15% discount and I had it for $110 or so. So I threw in 6 1/18 display cases, which put my order at $160 with shipping. Not a bad deal I'd say. Now I can finally properly display those few models I still have. It'll be my first TSM model, but I'm expecting it to be the same quality as Spark. And I love Spark models.

6 cases? The Triple 9 cases? Let me know if yours have one side that's unclear or has this diffused refracted look that doesn't give you a 100% clear picture of what's on the other side. I've got all 6 cases with this.

You are correct, I am wrong.

I'm nothing. I just shared findings.

Exoto 1/18 Nissan R89C Men's Tenoras. Got the seller to go down to $495USD. I didn't buy it though. I was very close to doing it, but then I realized I may actually like a dirty Calsonic or the Courage livery a lot more in the long run.

So if anyone has been looking for a decent Exoto... this may be the one!

I combined my 2 loves, rally racing and the Porsche 911 and grabbed seven 1/18 scale rally 911s. The notable rally Porsche missing is the 959 Paris-Dakar, of course, which TSM makes (both the 1st and 2nd place cars from 1986), but I’ve debated if I want one or not. There are a few cars I hope they eventually make in 1/18 scale, but I won’t hold my breath. Like the Porsche 953 and some other historic safari 911s.

Dear @Venom800tt (and whoever cared but didn't speak up),

A social media rep from IG confirmed that badass-looking black 1/43 Mazda RX-3 will indeed be available for ordering on their store on the 20th.

Save the date. And the address.

Don't miss out!

I also need that in my life, though in yellow. I want all my super Ferraris in yellow lol

I'm on the hunt for a 1:18 scale model of a stock Porsche 964. I've found the Carrera 4 version that GT Spirit that's in silver with the Cup 1 wheels to be particularly attractive, but that model seems to be difficult to find/pretty expensive on eBay. @SPhilli911 do you have any tips/pointers on where to look for that model/any other manufacturers that made stock 964s similar to that?

I can't think of any base model 964s out there other than the GT Spirit Carrera 4 (a silver version or green with the Cup wheels and a white one with D90 wheels) and GTS also made a black anniversary 964, but that might be hard to find. Like you said, though, those look to be getting up there in price.

I've been waiting for an Autoart base model 964 Carrera and who knows, maybe it will happen. AA released a base 993 Carrera not long ago. Sorry I couldn't be much help.

Does it need to be a silver or have those wheels? GT Spirit does have that black/orange with silver BBS, as well as the ruby with Cup 1's. I'm looking on eBay right now. Prices range around $160... CAD.

Apparently Minichamps will be producing a fairly stock-looking 964 Turbo if you're interested in that.

I think he's looking for a based model Carrera, not the RS. Although, those GTS RSs are relatively cheap it could be a good substitute if you aren't picky about accuracy. Looks like GTS just took their Carrera 4 model, changed the interior and slapped a "Carrera RS" sticker on the back. The wheels and ride height aren't accurate.

Yeah, I'm looking for a base, narrow body Carrera without wings. I've seen some with the D90 wheels, and unfortunately, I think those wheels look horrid.

I think GTS did take the C4 model and slap a RS badge on it with a different color. Might be able to just replace the sticker.

Thanks guys.

There's a McLaren in my collection (1:43, iXO) that is an F1 GTR Longtail but without any racing livery and with license plates. I thought it's a homologation special, but the road version of this car was the F1 GT, which has different wheels and no rear wing. So I assume it's road-converted race car.

Also... I thought that my collection lacks some classic Soviet trucks (actually, there are few old GAZ trucks, but I want more). So, I'm ordering one now. Looks very cool, and the price is a bargain... I'll post when I get it.

Maybe it's the lighting, but the purple looks like it's missing layers that give the purple that deep colour. Also that rear fitment... Wonderful.

On a brighter note, these wheels in gold don't look terrible with the purple.

Thank you for introducing us to RUF, GT2!

That's enough, hope you liked them!

Nice pictures! 👍

I’m probably a bit late, and this is off-topic, but I’d like to ask how you managed to make those panning shots from stills through Photoshop (or any other editing software you use)? They look lifelike, particularly the Ford GT LM Test Car one.

You got me. The GT picture is the only picture with real movement here x-)
We used a small inclination for the asphalt with a pillow on the finish line, my girldfriend let go the car while I was really tracking it with my tripod.

Cool but we never did it again!

That’s... innovative.

Fantastic shots nonetheless. 👍

I can only suspect that this is probably the most straightforward and easiest way to capture believable motion blur of the background and wheels. Shopping in the blurs yourself can either lead to inaccuracies or just be more work than its worth.

And yes, That one's a very nice shot, @ManRT. 👍

So, it has arrived.
ZiL 130 '76. A 1:43 model by SSM (Start Scale Models) I picked with a great discount (999 rub = 14.3 eur). Normally it costs 2.6 times more.
The detail is nice, better than any other trucks I have.

If you've played Spintires, you know this truck as "B-130".

And the other Spintires vehicles I have:

My 1:43 collection is pretty big already, but this truck made me happy like a little kid. :D
I'll probably get some more Soviet trucks in future. Particularly firetrucks and trucks with semi-trailers.
