The new agreement will see Spark produce authorised models from SRO championships around the world. These include the continental Fanatec GT World Challenge Powered by AWS series, regional competitions such as British GT and Championnat de France FFSA GT, and international events such as the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa.
What’s more, the company will play an important role at the centenary CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa (26-30 June). Not only will Spark host a store within the on-site Fan Zone, but its range will also be expanded with two new collections linked to the Belgian endurance classic.
Firstly, a limited series of 24 models will be launched and sold at the event to celebrate the 100th anniversary. Secondly, a new permanent collection will honour every winning car since 1924. Featuring special CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa packaging, this range is currently under development.
I need this 499p, right now! (and the Porsche, the BMW and 296 Ferrari to be fair)
If nothing else it's worth doing if you decide to insure them - without photos it's hard to explain to an insurance company which melted blob of charred metal was what, should the worst happen.Another dump of various GT Spirit 911s in my collection. Really time consuming to take them out for pictures, but I want to try to get a picture of all of my models.
I wasn't thinking about insuring them until the image of "melted blob of charred metal" was in my headIf nothing else it's worth doing if you decide to insure them - without photos it's hard to explain to an insurance company which melted blob of charred metal was what, should the worst happen.
I wish I had the forethought to do this when I started collecting, but at the time I wasn't really expecting to get very many models and most of that information is lost. I do have insurance but I will need to read the fine print for coverage and see what I need to do to add a collection.I have a whole excel listing of all my 900 1/43 with date of purchase, model shop; price etc; mostly for me but also for insurance purpose, and I chose my insurance « bracket » value accordingly.
Might have to get this myself.Crappy quality images, but I picked up this 1:43 scale Minichamps model of "Grello" at the Nürburgring 24h, and even managed to get it signed by Kevin Estre in the paddock.
I only just read the plate inside the box, and apparently it is number #300 of 300...
The only problem with it was that it was the last one they had in the shop and it was on display, so it is covered in a fine layer of black dust, which wasn't great - but clearly it genuinely was the only one they had. It is the 2019 model so was nowhere near as pricey as the newer ones, but for €60, it was pretty reasonably priced.
