That damn intro with the damn freaking bells started playing just when I entered the mall. But I did not lose hope even as the voice sounds familiar but not really Carey-ish...

Went to the gym last night and forgot my headphones. This wasn’t something I could just walk out of either because I have a trainer and can’t cancel over a dumb song lol. So I survived over an hour of modern contemporary Christmas music with NO Mariah Carey somehow, all the while telling my trainer how much I hate the fact people hype up Christmas so early and for so long.
Well apparently the hate was strong enough and luck was on my side because she didn’t appear in the playlist that night. But I swear when I was walking to my car I saw her in that red dress across the street under a lamp post in the corner of my eye, but when I looked she was gone.
I was spared that night. But she’s definitely still out there… waiting for the perfect moment when my guard is down.

I just realized that they play Christmas in the lobby at my office. Unfortunately for me I can't make or receive calls in the office due to poor reception. So I normal go to the lobby for calls. Hopefully I make it until the end
Now that I post weekly on Instagram, I gotta be careful with my feeds. I also gotta be mindful of my older sister who is constantly on her Instagram Feeds. After so many years of safety, the threat is closer then ever
I actually heard the song in an Instagram reel either last night or this morning and I said, "thank goodness I'm not playing this game" or I would've been eliminated. Be afraid people. You won't escape the wrath of Mariah.
