I am living on the edge now. The mother of my offspring is playing a christmas playlist in the house. There are probably 150 songs on it, one of which is the song that shall not be named. They are played random.

Every time a song ends and another starts, it feels like russian roulette. And it very much is.
 
I'm out before December began. Some YouTube mix in the background, played by my father-in-law.

Must've been revenge.

Technically... I'm already out as I've already heard it a few times thanks to social media, but I don't feel like the Christmas season should be allowed to start until after Thanksgiving. So, now, let it begin.

You, and the entire GTPlanet staff, are very bad men/women. Changing the fire reaction in such a way... I wish for you all to get one, miniscule, chunk of coal in your stinky stockings 🧦 this year.

I wasn't even playing, and had forgotten previous years of this game's exploits in catching the unwary or unwitting. I enthusiastically hit that new/old reaction option for a post over in the GTWS thread, for the first time ever, and had me a good chuckle followed by a very vocal reaction to realizing wtf was playing and how it got initiated on my PC.

This game is an example of "the only way to win is to not play" and even then you can still lose. I have personal empirical evidence/testimony, as of few minutes ago, to prove it.

I wasn't even running with this game, but I just caught myself whammed on my own when clicking on the snowman emoji here... The audio started playing on my phone

I self whammed myself on a game I wasn't even playin but declared loss as I heard the song....

This is messed up.


For those who wonders, yes the emoji will dSQ you worse than Norris and Piastri

Well I saw the snowman emoji pop up on another post somewhere and I read this page and saw it's doing the thing again, and I hit it just to see if it would and it is indeed playing an audio file. So yeah, cool to see that trick again I guess.

I wish one of her lawyers used this website and sued you guys for unauthorized use of the song.

I heard the long "IIIIIIIIIIIIIIII" at the start of the song today, but it was in one of those real life gmod videos and it was heavily edited to sound like a horror scene and the character was pretty terrified of it, so I'm going to put that one under remix and carry on.

December is upon us. The real fun begins now. I think in the future I'm just going to join in on December 1st because this challenge really is making me hate how much people hype christmas up way too early. Call me a Scrooge or a sourpuss but I honestly don't want to hear about this holiday any time before December 1st.

Also I’m aware Christmas operates on a month long Lent calendar but I’m talking secular Christmas specifically. We don’t hype up Halloween the minute after Labour Day, no reason it needs to happen for Christmas imo.

I've shared the rules of Whamageddon with my department at work (retail head office) and it's gotten some good reception so far.

The person that manages our in-store radio has also removed Last Christmas from the playlist. Over 150 stores in New Zealand are now certified Wham-free Zones™.

My first thought when I saw it the other day. I still remember the lights and that button from a few years ago.

Still safe, so far. I was only ever counting from the start of December but I've still not heard it this year regardless.
