I officially got Whammed! thanks to my bus drivers bad music taste. His favourite radio station decided to play an extract of it followed by an entirely different song...

EDIT: Actually, would it count if it was a short, ripped-off tune from the song?

Nope. Only the original version, with George Michael singing, counts.

Otherwise, it isn't WHAM, get it? It's more like being hit with a flimsy cover. Not as satisfyingly brutal.

so i wanted so badly to participate.

I work in Retail. its just an instant loss. if you work in retail, major chain store retail. you lose. no ifs ands or buts about it.

I lost 2 sundays ago. the first song i heard when i walked into work, it just started as i walked in. just to taunt me.

Maintaining radio silence on my end. I don't dare turn on the radio just in case I get done. Makes sitting on my backside a bit more boring though.

I almost lost it today. Almost.

I was heading home with my host bro, when we decided to stop near the Christmas market to grab some fresh delicious fries. I should have assumed instant death the moment I noticed the booth across the way playing songs. Wouldn't you know it, but I heard the intro and my heart dropped faster than the fries from my hand.

Ich werde ge-Wham!-t!

Turns out they re-dubbed it. Saved by the flippin' bell.
 
I dreamt that I was listening to the radio on my mp3 player in bed. Last Christmas came on. I swore and said, "Well, i'm out." It seemed so real as well. I realised it was a dream when I remembered that my mp3 player was on my desk... on the other side of the room :lol:

I was suspicious about that link so I switched off the sound just in case. Turned out there was no need to do that.


I don't trust anyone who adds a link in this thread, so I'm always going to be wary about clicking on them.
 
I'm still constantly listening to the radio, even when my parents are listening to Old/Bad Music FM2FM I am safe.:)

Let's pray to the FSM that Michael stays alive until next year. Then when he dies we help Last Christmas to the #1 in all countries :D
