GTPremium Ideas

Yeah, colors are not too tough to do, I like this GTP theme, but having a choice for GTPremium members could help persuade slightly more people to buy GTPremium, as well as other ideas that was posted here.

Hmm... Also being able to add quotes in your sig like we used too would be nice. (For everyone.)

Being open to more emoticons would be cool for GTPrem users, and also disabling the right click on these special smileys, so people wouldn't save them. Hope that hasn't been said already. :scared:

Exactly my point. Making purchases for random people. And I'm fairly sure we haven't met.

For everyone: They should let you edit the polls you made, incase you forgot something.

GTPremium: You should be able to delete your own posts, rather than just only editing them alone. I forgot to add that changing the color of username should only be open to GTPrem users, but then again this is a GTPremium thread. :)

IIRC, this was brought up before in a different thread, and Jordan doesn't want to do that. :indiff:
 
Ohh, but it would help mods slightly, due to the fact that there will be slightly less clean up to make, like when people say to delete this post, ETC. But hey, I don't call the shots here. :guilty:
 
I have a pretty good suggestion. I just joined another forum and they have a pretty cool thing going on. Every post you make, depending on how long of a post it is, you will get a certain amount of points (I think its a maximum of 35 points for 1 post) These points are redeemable for downloadable pictures and movies.

I think that would be pretty cool. You could even make it so if you get an insane amount of points, you can get different things from the gtplanet store.

The only problem with this is that people may spam and make useless long threads for points.

It's not hard to make a long post. Making a long, useful, not-spam post, on the other hand, is a fair bit harder.

That's what the rep system is for, when some one makes a very helpful in-depth post, they're usually rewarded with +rep.

...What Diablo is talking about is that if you make a post, whether great or poor, you get ___ amount of points. So, if I made about 300 posts saying "lol thats great", "cool", ":)", "haha", and other spam posts, I could accumulate a ton of points and buy whatever.

And even still, what are you going to buy? A little picture of something to display in your profile that shows that you like something? If you get 20,000 points you coud buy an $8 shirt?

IMO, I think it would be pointless.

I realise. It's just an idea.

EDIT: That's not what im talking about. The forum that uses this only has around 1700 members with probably only 30 regular posters. For the most part, good grammar is used, and to get the maximum amount of points you have to at least have a good 3 paragraphs of writing down.

Ahh, I see now. I agree, if this was implemented I'd be willing to bet it would be gotten rid of just like the showing of rep was.

no, if you made 300 posts saying "lol thats great", "cool", ":)", "haha" you'd most likely get banned after the 3rd or 4th one.

again, it was just a idea
 
How about GTPremium members also get thier own "GTP Chat Room?" Sound's pretty good IMO, what do you guys think?
