So yeah, I have a couple of questions.
1. Is it too late/early to sign up for season 2 of Touge 200 and 300? If not, sign me up for both.
2. What's the verdict on using free DLC cars like the Scion FR-S? It can't be shared but every tester can obtain it for free anyway. They just need to spend 2 hours breaking it in.
Hi, Mat, don't forget to sign me up for all class next season, I have 3 cars prepped for them![]()
You still have time for Touge 300. But God knows how long that'll come by...
Anyways, yeah, free DLC cars are fine. 👍
I'm sure Onboy will PM me or something when it comes by.
Sweet, that's my car sorted.
If it means my FC loses its shot at taking down the MR2, then no way.![]()
I kid, of course.![]()
Isn't your FC in Touge 200 though? Or are you moving it up to 300? I missed the boat on 200 so yeah.![]()
Why because it will end up dull?
More like "You can (not) overtake"
You already know my T300 car.
Ohh, you were talking about T300 2.0? In that case, uhh I'm not sure if I should be unsporting or not.I've got Korza on board testing my Impreza, but it should be fairly quick but then I know you're either going with a GT86 or a NSX, so I'm actually really worried.

Hmm I was more thinking of directing the "You" at the other cars, but "You can (not) pass" sounds smoother, no?
What, that sideways, smoking R32 again?
Chen, FR-S, GT86, what's the difference? Both are pretty much the same car underneath.FR-S, actually. The NSX is a 3.2L unless I use the older model which is a 3L, but I'd rather take an FR-S to the touge anyway. It's cheaper.

I've got the track set on share, I'll add you as soon as I can.Anyone going to be on in the next hour or so that I can grab the track from?
If in doubt...blame Mat's driving.Less smoke, more grip, less understeer. Hey if mat Drove it like I did, he would have rated it much higher![]()
Chen, FR-S, GT86, what's the difference? Both are pretty much the same car underneath.![]()
I see, no, I really see your reasoning there. It doesn't have anything to do with the fact that the GT86 and all its counterparts are all the top cars at 400-500PP, nope, nothing to do with that at all.![]()
Anyway, I've got the S2 track on share, so go and get a head start if you want.
Yeah I've heard some people say they feel no difference and others saying they do feel a difference. It's like last year when some people didn't feel the difference between online and offline physics. Not everyone sees things the same way in this game and I respect that.I honestly notice absolutely no difference between the three after testing all three. They all handle exactly the same to me and put down similar lap times. I prefer the BRZ for the looks and the GT86 for the classy and sporty interior. GT5 gets the spring rates wrong and backwards for all three anyway, so they'll handle alike no matter what. And the GT86 is awful at 500PP if you abide by LotS regulations and keep the stock/close ratio transmission. Even with the custom tranny, it doesn't put the power down too well with SH tires.
Well, I was talking about track racing, granted, so the same might not apply for this, but still. 300hp, 1100kg or so is still formidable. And then there's the guy building the damn thing, that worries me the most.![]()
The GT86 used to be awful online no matter what anyway, let alone with LotS regulations that make it so driver skill plays a big factor in races. With the fixed online physics I think it'd do better, but the NSX and Evora would still murder it and everything else.
I don't think it's necessarily bad, but the car can handle awfully if your spring rates are outta whack. I noticed with my shootout tune, the car would experience snap oversteer online when it bottomed out. With real spring rates, I find the car easy and fun to drive, as well as incredibly fast at whatever PP you run it at. You're the expert, however, since you must own at least 86 of these things.![]()
