I'll respect the owner/organizer of gtp touge. Now, at least a couple of list of banned car should be approriate so that nobody will ever ask again.

👍 to this. Mat, bash your head into the wall once, get everything sorted first, rather than do so every time a new car that's not been used comes along.

In fact…I'd go and nick some stuff from the GTP Touge boys just to make life easier.
 
I just don't think a Tuner car from companies like Amuse should enter a Tuning competition. Slenderman's 500pp R1 was as fast as the 550pp entries in LotS.
 
I inherited a room made by SolidSnake, he left right after I joined in, I tried to join in the room many times, DC's. Anyway, now I am running Akina :D, room number is :

Got a fellow GTPer's joined in :D My S14 Silvia Q's running 3:15.1xxx, 200 HP- 416pp with base tune.

I worked with my bro on a grocery getter car together, and it isn't doing too well on Akina, but I hope it's just my driving. (I tend to crash into walls alot). I'm just waiting for the T300 signups and hoping for the best.

The Elise can theoretically dip under 2:50 with a proper tune and a proper driver at the helm - for T300. Onboy's fast car, was doing I think 2:58's? Think of that what you will.

Should be allowed for TMAX imo..

So glad Da Hommell wasn't banned though, I love that car.

I took a fully tuned Dodge Ram out on the track and something strange happened.
It's my fastest car..:dunce:
But, it wants to kill me in every single corner, so I won't use it on this track again.

Just doing some test runs here, I'll change it to Akina once there are a few people in the room. I don't know how long I'll be on for though, probably little over an hour, since I need some rest before work in 6 hours.

How am I supposed to do that on my own?! As if I know every 🤬 car in GT5! At least lend me a hand!
 
Well, I can start by suggesting banning all race cars, RM, concept cars and supercars with more than 800HP from factory :) Keep the Tank Car, I'd love to see someone tune it for Touge :lol: Not sure about the tuner cars ..

Yeah, I agree that it should be banned. It doesn't require any tuning really to beat a lot of its competition, thus why tuners are banned in LotS as well. It's unfair to "tune" a pretuned vehicle, like if MCR took a Mine's Skyline, added a few of their parts, and called it their own.
 
What about some street cars with an unfair advantage? Could you guys name some?

I'm on the hunt too. lol
 
Particularly, only the Elise comes to mind because it's broken in this game. The Caterham also falls into this category of horrendously overpowered lightweights. The M3 CSL and RGT come to mind, but only for the MAX class.

Hmm, I though the same with the Caterham.

What's wrong with the M3 CSL and the RGT? I haven't driven those cars since... forever!

Anyway guys, if you have any suggestion on more cars that should be banned, don't hesitate to leave a reply. 👍

I wouldn't say the Caterham is overpowered, actually it's pretty hard to win with it, but it's very light. Since we don't count PP, yes you could say it's overpowered.
 
I'd say place all the tuner cars in a separate class/classes like you plan to do with cars like the Elise. Same with "Supercars" like the Veyron and SLR. Perhaps placing a credit limit on the stock cars would help remove some of the more questionable high power cars from the Max class. You also already have a short list of banned cars, I'd say instead of trying to sift through all the other potential cars to try and determine ones to ban other than the aforementioned tuner/race/supercars just allow them to compete as long as they meet the class restrictions. Then if a car proves overly dominant retire it after that season and add it to the list of banned cars.👍👍
 
A credit limit, you say?...

Well, what would you suggest? I barely know how much cars would cost in GT5.
