I'm pulling consistent 8.98x's - 9.002's 0-400m times with this tune:

hello, i am part of team rapid and well i havent released any tunes to the wide world. i get plenty of requests for help and so i thought i shall release some i am a 1/4 mile tuner btw so dont try my tunes at 3000m or tunnel
ill start with the one i am most frequently asked for help with: GTR R35 SpecV (seems to run okay with R35 '07)
r35 base (this was one of the fastest in aus for a very long time)
trans:

final gear left until top speed in corner is about 259kmh (roughly 161mph)

leave second
third 3/4 to the right
4 and 5 full right
6 either leave or move slightly right (preference)

Tunnel is almost 2miles long, not 1/2.
I've got it down to a PB 8.895 now with this tune. Viper nailed it with this base tune IMO.should try for 8.900s 1/4mile

ReVoLuT1oNWait, if that exact tune has got you doing 8.895 with a couple tweaks to the suspension you could beat the record.
Start by removing toe. Unless you've already done that and have tweaked that set up. Which would be my guess.
Idk how they are getting so fast, I could only get 8.921 with my tune :S even tho that's my base![]()
phlyerphanaticI've been playing with this tune..almost too much..I hit a 8.894 then tweaked a bit more....I think it was a "perfect" run cuz I haven't hit it again. I think I went too far on my suspension tweaks cuz right now I'm really breaking loose in 2nd gear and not launching as quick. Engine rebuild isn't far off...just under 300 miles on Godzilla right now.
Mostly dampers and roll bar. I've tried both ends of the spectrum...but in my haste I didn't save the setup that I ran the .894 with. Right now I'm really breaking loose in 2nd gear...so I'm gonna go back to your base and start tweaking again to see if I can hit that "elusive" .894 again. And save that setup this time and tweak after saving it..LOLWhat sort of suspension tweaks? Haha my base tune is now my fastest tune![]()

My launch sucks big time right now too...but that's another story..LOL
My hats off to you Viper for your base tune..I couldn't break into the 8's without it.
It is burning for a fraction of a second..hence the fact that I said I gotta be losing at least a 10th in 2ndIf you are spinning in 2nd, your 1st and 2nd are too close. And you should only burn out for a fraction of a second, as it is AWD.
You should have full grip in second though, and spin a fraction in first. Are you running 10/90 or more 50/50 for torque.

Gonna play around with the ratio. Thanks for the tip.You shouldn't need any less than 35 nor any more than 45 for rear wheels on high power cars. Once you get to lower power cars though, it's a different story...
