Haven't tried it with my wheel yet, but seems pretty good. The car engine noise is the best part I think :D

Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrwwwwwwwww, ahem. ;)

The 'wobbling' cabin is good but some times it seems to wobble a bit excessively as though the cars made out of jelly, still it is an early version.
 
Most realistic racing game Ive ever played. Played the demo quite a few times, blown away. RAWWWWRRRRRR *down shift to look cool* MWWWWUUUUUURRRRRWWWWW RAWRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!

who says it won't be as good? It's certainly FAR more realistic then GTp.
Everything about it oozes quality,. I strongly advise checking it out. I thought the wobbling cabin was ace, when you car picks up speed, and goes nuts, brilliant. I noticed that even when your not moving, turn the wheels actually effects the car, it moves slightly, as does revving the engine, I just though that was cool :D
 
well, the sound is indeed incredable, and a lot better than any GT sound. But i think the car is sometimes shaking to much..sometimes. The graphics and physics are awsome indeed.

I really like it when you start your engine or when you shift back...........wooahhh what a noize..................:mad: :mad: :mad:

I loved GTR2002 and I have no doubt GTR2003 will be a lot better ... Unfortunately PC's can suck in that currently the demo crashes and my computer isn't stable with games (no problems with anything else, just most games lately). Time for a re-install. *sigh*

will have it in around 8hrs.. Ive never seen a topic on this before tho? Is it similar to Live for Speed / Racer? as in concept, just for online release or??

very very impressive screenshots above! got the DFP sitting here waiting to use as soon as I have it!
 
It's a stand alone game, not like the mods GTR2002 or 2003.
GTR will be have a singlepayer mode (Career champioship) and a online mode which is expected to become one of the most popular online racers ever....
The physics are much better than racer of lfs....just try the demo.

my pc is a 2100 xp, 9800,. 512 ddr

I run this game at 1200 res, maximum everything, 4X aa with out a sniff of slow down.
 
If it will run on my computer I'll no dout get it as I play GTR2002 allot to this day.

But why post this here? Not really fair to compare console games to PC games.

Code, have you played GTR2002? I think i have about 4 gigs of files for F12002 :)

So it should run on my 2800, but look crappy. Beh, pc gaming is such a strain on the wallet.
I almost bought a DFP on sunday, this game would've been awesome to use it with by the looks of it.
 
It runs as smooth as possible on a 2.8GHZ, 128mb Gforce FX5200, 1024DDR ....................and a soundbalster audigy 2 with a SUB makes the makes the package complete.
That interior is from a porsche 911 GT3 by the way. :D

That's pretty irrelevant, and defeats the purpose of having subforums. Besides, most members here view the forum from the New Posts link in the upper right menu.

Well dont. Get F1 99-02 instead if you do ;) its better than 2002.

Its like comparing Halo(or even Halo2) to Half-Life(100's mods and add ons).
 
I wonder if mouse control would be a good idea. Does anyone have a race game that supports mouse? I know in Battlefield 1942 it seems to work fairly well, but vehicles in that game aren't exactly accurate to begin with (:
 
That demo is indeed amazing but in car handling gt4p is better. I played this demo with my wheel and compared the 2, it and gt4p and gt4p's cars handle more realistic. But that demo is way better than gt3, way better. It will give gt4 is run for its money for sure but being more realistic in car handling? Doubt that from comparing the demo and gt4p. Man, the sound effects of the cars are ace, ACE!!! I thought pgr2 had accuarate car sounds, this one takes the cake. Too bad gt4's cars wont like that :( The graphics are good, need alittle work but over all good. This game should keep me happy til gt4 :D

I dont know about that, did you use the wheel for gt4p and the demo? Gt4p's cars handle better and more realistic, that demo kills gt3 though, that's what you should have said the demo was far more realistic than; gt3.

Technically speaky no(sales, convenience). But the mod community will blow this game into nirvan.
