What does that have to do with anything? This is the GT4 forum. This game isnt GT4 so it doesnt belong here. Simple as that.

Press L on your keyboard, and then it will start going to fullspeed and stuff, it's actually the rev limiter, all you do is press L and disable it.

All I can say is........damn this game is hard!! Lol, alot of fun though, if a little frustrating (if the real things are as hard to drive as in this game I don't see how anybody ever finishes a 60 lap race).

If it matters i have a 2.13.463 with the Lister Storm on Spa.

This game is a nightmare with a keyboard... even with all the assists turned on, I can't drive the damn thing 30 seconds without crashing into a wall... :irked: Will try it with the wheel tonight.

What are your specs?
You are probably running at higher specs than your hardware can handle.

the best racing game i have played so far including gt1,2 & 3. The realism, sound and looks are excellent. Even the force feedback feels so real. I love it :)

Damn!! I heard about this game on a magazine a few months ago... That time there was no screenshots whatso ever....

It looks great!!

But my PC sucks.. (It has massive slow down on NFSU, NFSHP2, MC2):banghead:

Oh well... I guess I have to wait for GT4......
But even GT4 wouldn't be able to show off superior graphics such as this....:banghead:

I was thinking a game like LFS, NFS:U, RD2 or GTR would be good to have on my laptop so that if I want to procrastinate then I can play anywhere. My laptop seems to have other ideas about that as it misteriously freezes or the screen shuts off... :irked:

Tried it with the wheel yesterday...

WOW!! :D

This is the best PC racing game I played so far. The physics and modelling are just amazing. The responsiveness of the car and the force feedback are IMO better than GT3, somewhat less filtered and more tricky to master (tried it with all the assists off except the clutch), but it's very rewarding once you get used to it.

The sensation of speed is also much better than GT3 (Eau-Rouge/Raidillon is a thrill). The sound is great too. I can't say much for the graphics as I only have a GeForce 2 GTS for now, which runs fine at 800x600 and I finally might consider buying a better card for this game when it comes out. The vocal briefings for different parts of the tracks are also a nice touch. This game probably won't have as much diversity in terms of cars and tracks as GT4, but it's an excellent game while waiting for it.

as said in the Press/Drivers Quotes on the last screen of the demo...

"****ing great!!" :p

PS: If you don't have a wheel to play the game, don't even considering it, it's very crappy and impossible to control with a keyboard.

I had everything off except clutch and reverse, but I don't remember my time... I'll check tonight.

Who would be in for a little OLR with defined rules? :D

I can't seem to get my logitech gt wheel working with this demo!? I got steering, i got resistance, but I got no force feed back when riding on the rumble strips. Does anyone have this problem??? Plz help!!!

I drive with my keyboard.
And what the hell is OLR?

(Online Racing?)

OLR is online racing. My best time so far is only a 2:21:910. I am using full anti-wheelspin and full ABS with an axis DS2-like controller (which makes controlling that ridiculous Lister quite a handful). I really like this demo, but I think they made the cars too hard to handle. The understeer is awful right up to the point that it goes into horrifying snap-oversteer! I still have yet to find a good balance. The car either plows right off of the road or spins out. I've even spun out on the straights!

You did setup you car Majin SSJ Eric?It handles much better with a good setup.

Oh...my...****ing...god. This game is amazing, played it with sound on 5.1, drove the Morgan down the main straight at Spa and...whaa...my heart melted! Even though I need to test this with my wheel, already I have a feeling that this game is the Gran Turismo of PC...:D

Looks fantastic on my 9800 pro with 6x fsaa.
