Hm, it could be a Final Fantasy stuff, style looks similar.

However, the RPG element of it isn't like that.

I'm kinda hoping its not a spinoff of a famous game, cos that would just be pretty hard to guess.

No to all 3. Here is a hint. Its gameplay is split into 2 types, a tactical RPG and dating sim.
 
Only thing I know of that fits that hint would be one of the Sakura Wars games, and I could almost believe that looking at the picture. No clue which one of them it might be however, I'm pretty sure there's quite a few.

I was planning to give up my turn anyway. I just happened to have read about it the other day and couldn't seem to resist saying something. And you did get the specific answer that I didn't.
 
Of course. Sakura Wars was the weirdest game I have ever played.

I'm gonna let who ever wants it take my turn. I don't want to just keep control, so I think there should be a 3 day period before a person can have another turn unless it is going too slow.
