No no no and no...

They're a jazz/fusion band. The band's name is to the effect of "John Doe and The Players", so to speak. The white guy with the blue shirt being the one who's name is of the band. The black guy on the right is one of the best in the world playing his instrument. The two black guys are brothers. In fact, the white guy in blue shirt has been nominated for the Grammys in more categories than any other musician, namely country, pop, jazz, bluegrass, classical, folk, and spoken word, as well as composition and arranging.

If no one gets it, I'll add in more clues.
