Nope. British Prog band... this particular line-up lasted until late 1988. Funnily enough, the first four albums (1983 to 1987) have sold more copies than the next nine albums (1989 to 2004).
sorry, just got in from work. BMy next clue was going to say the band's original name; The Silmarillion, but since Tolkien's representatives threatened to sue, they changed their name to Marillion.
now we await for Omnis' obscure band pic. I love his clues, they're always like "this band had a top 750 hit in 1972 and then a top 500 hit in 1976... they only released one album and it was an ep... they are widely known in Romania, but weren't heard of anywhere else"
