I did, yes, but nothing essential. and it's not a e90, and it's in fact not a Bimmer either.
However, I believe it's the same gearbox as the e90 330ia.

edit. I looked it up, its not the same gearbox.

Seeing you said it was similar to E90 3 series, I'm going to say a B3.
But I never saw the gear shifter any different then the regular BMW model

I knew that thing beside the shifter looked E9X gen bimmer but the curve on the right side threw me off. It must be an E60 B5 then
