It has a bit of a Bimmer 507 vibe to it. I say this because the rim of that and the Z07 concept and some Z series vehicles have a rim styled like it.

yeah, but you're far off. this is an obscure one! the manufacturer logo is on the centre of the steering wheel if it helps:)

No, it was a independent company and is now defunct.
This is from their most famous car.

Honestly i was going to say something else but i saw a big tip!

It looks like a Peugeot logo, but upon closer inspection the golden lion is not facing the right side, which should be the left side, but here it facing the right...

Man i have been looking/searching google since 3am... its been over 15hours and i am still cluless...

Does this company have a Wikipedia page? Can you give us a hint towards the country of origin?

Nope.

To summary:
It's Italian
It's a obscure manufacturer, but the model is well known, and was in fact kind of famous.
The manufacturer logo is in the centre of the steering wheel in the picture.
The company was an independent manufacturer, but is now defunct.

Extra hint: This model was produced in the 40's and 50's, but the company didn't become bankrupt until the 60's

You got it!:)

Never would have without those hints, which then led me down a Wikipedia rabbit-hole of old Italian carmakers until I eventually stumbled across that logo  That was a good one!
